Critique Forum Overload

Pay in what, money? Thats kind of stupid. Thats like paying for an agent before you get published...just stupid.

If they want to get but don't give, that is there own problem. All they can do is say "Please critique me!" and then get yelled at for begging, or go about whining because no one critiques them and then they'll learn, critique others too!

Thank you Valeca, Selorian, and other mods I forgot to mention, for sounding in and being vocal with members on this thread, re: this idea(s).

It's very true that everyday visitors have no problem keeping up and seeing each new thread, picking, choosing, reading, critiquing, and posting. My position, and the one I'm concerned with, is that of someone visiting once a week. It's a lovely forum and all, but people have lives, offline lives, real lives, and can't read this one single forum alone for hours each day.

I try to be a useful member, critique, participate, I haven't posted but 1 thing of my own, mostly out of a sort of fear of rejection (by not getting noticed)... but it's a huge turn-off and a bit depressing to see the results of hitting that "Unanswered Posts" link :\
