Michael would rip me to shreds if I changed him. He's very angry about the color change, and switching his background to match would only piss him off more. It may clash, but you don't know how he can GLARE. God, that kid can be scary, sometimes.

The less one sees a moderator the better. A little is better than alot or would you rather have a heavily moderated site constricting your freedom as a writer. It's the mentors who are visable, too much visability of a moderator is a bad sign, it's best that they stay lurking in the mist.

.....okay, I feel weird since I'm the only "Prolific Writer" that has posted here. I am awe amongst the WF giants. *cowers* ANYWAYS, yes, less is more but I really, really, really like seeing you guys respond to postings and being all friendly and likeable. I also enjoy seeing some good ol' fashioned butt-kicking when the situation calls for it.
Wanna see true tyranny? Check out some of the mods on writersbeat.com. CRAZY. Good site, but CRAZY.
You guys are great! Keep up the good work and congrats to the new ones!

RH: Most people don't post here because they don't realize they can.

I like seeing the mods on the threads as actual readers and critics. I guess that's what I mean. Truly, this was all a good-natured poke to get y'all to be more participatory. I guess...
No, I'd say for terrible moderating just go to PFFA (the poetry free for all). Feel confident in the fact that they are just waiting for you to screw up. Jussssst waaaaaiting...
But yay for me - I got bob's attention. He knows he's one of my favourites!

I'm scared to post on the public forums. I mean, what if I screw up, and have to moderate myself?!!!

Don't judge a moderation team by one bad experience. Our entire staff at WB has recently changed as well, so odds are your problem person is no longer in a position of power.

The PFFA is poetic boot camp. I'm one of many former members.
