Chat Room
Forgive me if this has been brought up before, but I suggest adding a chat room to the forum. At times, writers get together and collaborate on co-ops or whatnot, and I think it would be handy to be able to chat from WF, rather than opening Yahoo! and the like. Then again, I'm American and lazy.

Actually, I remember a thread in the Lounge about somebody making a chatroom for WF--we never heard anything about it, lol.
After that person didn't post in the thread anymore, I checked some stuff online to see if I could make one. But then I thought about it and didn't think a lot of people would like it.
If, however, it seems that there are some people interested, I'd be happy to try and make one.
NOTE: I'm not a professional, so of course an IRC chatroom will always be better than anything I'd make (which'll most likely be in Flash combined with PHP), but I have no idea how to get an IRC one.

I think a chat room would get a bit out of hand…
But something open once a day or a week would be nice.

Perhaps, then, it would allow a place for our little angst-ridden teenies to release their need for attention, while keeping the boards a little clearer.  Hmm.
I suggest this only because there is no official place on the forum for 'chat' threads. Of course, the lounge is someting of a substitute for this, as well as Delphere's (forgive me, sp?). But general chatting is definitely frowned upon. Meh.

You could always make it indipendent from WF, but still mostly stocked with WF members.
