Exclamation New Writing 101 Forum

As many of you may have noticed by now, there's been a recent addition to the WF forums.

The new Writing 101 forum is the evolution of the useful but often overlooked Writing 101 thread stickied in the Writing Tips & Advice forum. By making this change we hope to accomplish a few things:
  • Make the resources more noticeable so members are aware that answers they seek may already be available without asking in the Writing section forums. Also make it easier to find since they will all be grouped together in one handy reference source.
  • Gathering most stickies into one area so they aren’t overlooked and/or cluttering the top of the forums. This also opens a few more spots for posts on the first page of all forums.
  • Make members aware that if they have information they think would be beneficial to add, they can submit it to a member of staff for approval and inclusion in the Writing 101 forum so others may benefit from it.
  • Create an on-forum reference area so information pertinent to writers is available without having to search all over the internet to find what they need.
Although empty at the moment, staff will be working on transferring existing topics in the old Writing 101 thread and stickies from across the forums to their new home.

Both members and staff are welcome to add content to the Writing 101 reference forum. All content will need to be submitted to staff for approval and addition to the forum. Any other suggestions or ideas can be directed to any member of staff or posted in the Writing 101 Forum thread in the Suggestion Box as usual.

Details and guidelines may be added as Writing 101 grows.

We hope this addition to WF is one that members find both convenient and helpful. Enjoy.
