I have A Problem

I recently had a very embarrasing experience on these boards which I'm trying to put behind me.

However, this guy MidlandsMuse won't let it go. He actually put a fucking quote of mine in the signature.

Do I really deserve this?

I looked at the quote he has in his sig.

I think maybe if he took your name out of it, it'd be OK. it is funny what you said, but its not nice to make fun of people

I'd rather him take out the thing completely.

I am so angry right now that its hard to express in words.

I can't believe there are actually people out there who think that someone is going to remain unaffected if you call them unintelligent, illiterate, constantly reminding me that I spelledlsomething wrong, while meanwhile acting like my father or something and then, if thats not even enough, he trys to embarrass me further by quoting something I said which was completely out of context.

I never thought anything like that would happen here. Isn't there anywhere I can go where I'm not going to constantly be insulted and degraded? Anywhere?

Yeah, well just between us, that guys is a brat half the time anyway. However, you can't say something like that and get offended if people poke fun at it. It is humerous that you would say that.

My suggestion for a happier future:

Dont hit the "Post Reply" button UNTIL you are confident and happy with what you wrote.

lisajane is an unknown quantity at this point
PM a mentor or moderator about such issues in the future rather than embarrass everyone involved by posting publicily.

i don't see any sig at all on his latest posts, so he must have removed the offending material...

but lj is right... it's best to pm a mod or mentor, instead of making even more of a public issue out of it by posting a complaint...

love and healing hugs, maia
