I love the rivalry between you and Pawn.

And whenever you or he says something especially witty, I'll say "Pwned!" (I'm sure someone has already made that joke at some point.)

I think Pawn used "Pawned" to describe a moderating action he took a few months ago.

But I agree with Pawn. Off-topic posts are allowed in the lounge... but you can't say "off-topic" without saying "topic." "Dance Party" doesn't strike me as an actual topic, and I'd assume that had something to do with those threads being shut down.

Ugh... It's "Pwnd!", durr... "Pwned!" is too grammatically correct.
It's also appreciated if you sometimes add a few I's into the exclamation mark mass, like this: "PWND!i!i!i!!!!!i!!"

...and the worst of it is talking behind his feathered back. The penguin must be away, or else he would certainly respond to all this.

Blackhawk_t is on a distinguished road
Moderators are picked for a reason. They have shown some level of consistency and professionalism, otherwise they wouldn't be moderators. So, with that said, regardless of whether or not you agree with a moderator, you should respect their judgement when closing a thread.

With that said, if you have serious enough problem with threads being closed, then pm the one who closed it, as well as a few other moderators so they understand your frustration. That way your venting doesn't fall on deaf ears.

Also, you should really think about taking the least public route to handle a situation. When you publicly vent, it makes it look as if you haven't thought out your reaction. Or, if you do decide to vent, take a day to write it out, re read it, and then post it if you still think it's justified.

Topic closed.

Complaints about moderation should be directed in a private message to one of the other mods, or if you need to escalate further than that, to the moderation supervisor (ie me) or the site admin. Please avoid complaining about moderators (or other forum members) in public; it can be construed as making personal remarks, which is against forum rules.
