only registered users view certain work - Writers Forum

i was thinking it might be better if you have it so anonomous people (non-registered) could not view work in certain boards (lyrics, poetry, short storys crituque and advice ect)
that way no-one can just read your post and steal our ideas/ i know i sound paranoid, but is does happen. what do you guys think?

I've seen this done on another forum, it cuts down on the view/reply ration (which is always good in my oppinion). I think it's a good idea. But it's not going to stop people registering and THEN stealing your work -- most people just don't post their best ideas if they're afraid of them being stolen.

This would, on the other hand, allow one to protect their works from first-publishing rights. It is an idea not rejected thus far.

yeah but it makes it slightly harder rather than just going on and viewing anonomously. and if thier caught they are banned for GOOD and they cant get back!
