MJ-induced Suggestion
This place is very quaint. (that's good, if you know your words) It reminds me of high school in many ways. Why not have a yearly "year book" thing where you hand out virtual plaques for the all star posters and their unique personalities and achievements?

That wouldn't work too well, as almost every writer on here is phenomanal..phenamonal...whatever.
Anyway, I am probably one of the worst writers on the site, but I am still above the norm, so it would be useless unless everyone got one.

Pardot, as is evident by your post here, you can punctuate and spell properly. You are not the worst writer here.

as has been addressed on another level elsewhere, introducing any kind of hierarchy here wouldn't be fair to all and, imo, would make it a more competitive environment, than the mutually and openly helpful one it is now...
up till now, every member, regardless of number of posts, has enjoyed equal standing with all others [aside from the mentors and mods, that is]... to start 'awarding' honors or any other such personal attention to some and not all, would make newcomers feel even more trepidacious than ever, when trying to summon up courage to step inside our virtual doors...
btw, i wondered if the title of this thread meant the poster had been influenced by 'the gloved one'!

uh huh - sure sure - I quit school at 16.
Why I've stayed here and remained rather active is because of the equality rather than the special cliques. I'm a socialist type of comrade and prefer the collective over star power. In my experience I've discovered that often this leads to petty politics.
Who/what is MJ?

as i mentioned, pen, i thought mj referred to that weirdo who was ludicrously acquitted of child molestation charges and is now hiding out in bahrain... of course, it could refer to the poster being out of it on weed!
