No, that isn't the whole problem. Part of the problem is people willing to highlight this behavior rather than ignore it while the mods get to it. Certain people were not much of a problem until they started getting attention. Report posts like that, don't post about them in other areas of WF.
Focus on the writing and leave this stuff up to the mods. Just because you don't see what goes on behind the scenes doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Sorry, I can't ignore this. It kinda jumps into by eyes.
Maybe you guys should start banning people. Bhauger is NOT helping this forum in ANY way.

holy cow... what a mess.
I didn't even know the problem existed.
Like scratches said, I believe, I like to cross from the lounge to the other forums... I try to be serious in poetry, where I mostly hang, and rib with pm's.
But if we shouldnt' post in the lounge, why is it even there?
Sometimes I'm having a bad day, or I'm blocked and scribbling something in the lounge can help loosen me up.
Jawbreaker was written solely because of a conversation I had with Teflon.
I think it's a great forum. There are other, more serious forums that you can pay to be in, but I like this mix of people, including those who are underage.
In fact, a few of our best writers are pretty young, Pawn, Ilan, Scratches, Murdershewrote... some better than others and some brimming with potential.
Can't things just stay how they are? I mean really, are things really that bad? I don't think so.

It takes time. As far as I know there is only one person who can ban him.
And if you think you are frustrated, try having a title but no mod powers to take care of stuff like this.

Trippy... I see now.
The jesus and pope thing.
The best advice I can give is ignore it and it will go away.
Truly, it works.

Okay, maybe I don't see what happens behind the scenes, but I have read the site rules, and nothing seems to happen to the people who break them. Of course people aren't going to follow rules if they are not enforced. The lounge is proof of this. It is disgusting right now.
Just look at the lounge right now. What kind of people will this site attract if things look like that? This site seems to suffer from a serious lack of mods. How many are there? Five? Six? That's not enough.

It would be more than enough, fact is that the mods do not seem to take any open action.

Please be patient. Chris has other demands on his time. One person after another complaining about the same problem is not going to make things happen anything faster. There are things in the works and that's all I can say for now.
As for seeing nothing happen remember that all moderation is done in private. When people get warnings, only the offender and staff know about it. It's Chris' policy and we have to respect that.

It sounds like progress, Daniela, thanks.
I have always preached "Ignore them and they go away." But the problem is, some adults and a lot of kids here, aren't able to for what ever reason. So I have joined the ranks that believe it's time for the mods or admins to step in.
I know you have been trying your best to keep things calm and it can't be easy. But thank you for your effort and the efforts of all the mentors.
And thanks Valeca, this thread has been much more productive..than other threads that were, I think, meant to try to do the same thing, but just did not succeed.

About "ignoring":
What if I wanted to post something in the lounge? I wouldn't, not now, since I would know what kind of answers I am likely to get.

I know it's been said, but I think the only solution is really to ignore it until one of the mods shows up to clean up the mess (and what a mess it's become). Unfortunatly, we can ban all we want, but when it comes down to it, people can just make another account. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Please do not feed the trolls. Once they start to starve, they'll (hopefully) move onto more promising lands.

No, Bobo, I'll wait it out until more promising game starts showing up.
