As one who has frequented the forums and LitOrg since July 2003, I can easily say I prefer the forums because there is more ability to have dialogue instead of simply showcasing writing.

I'm going through withdrawal. I need my lit.org. Not that I don't like it here (some great people, many from lit.org), but there's too much 'noise'.
BBs have always bothered me because of that. Too many one or two-sentence, off the cuff responses.
I need deep thoughts (hmmm, SNL?) with meat to them.
Nelson.

Looks like Lit.Org is springing back to life. I know some people still don't see it, but I've had reports that people have. Looks like we are on our way!

I can only access Lit.org with AOL. MSN Explorer, Internet Explorer, and Smart Explorer cannot link to the page for some reason. I don't know if any other browsers are having the same problem. It may just be the Explorer "family."

Can't see it still, even with that crappy(trojan-infested) explorer. Doesn't matter, I'll be gone for a week or so to do some research.
Hope you'll once again be able to spread the happiness of the written word across the globe (You know what I mean), chrisp.
So long everyone!

It's one of those prickly "luck" things. Some people can see it and some can't. The magic that makes the internet work is called DNS, and it moves slowly from the inside to the outside. It depends where you are when you get your DNS updates. It's not geographic, but rather number based. So numbers closer to the center update first and numbers on the outside update later. Still, it's pretty quick when you consider that every computer on the ineternet will be updated within 72 hours!

If you're referring to the poem I think you're referring to, I've just dealt with it. Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks
Thanks Spudley, I am not a prude by any means but that one didn't seem appropriate for this site.

I noticed some of the comments are missing from the previous days, from the poetry thread, for example. Is this stuff just slow moving or ... gone?

Since they didn't tell me they were moving, I'm sure it's possible a few things went missing ;( I'm *VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SORRY!* If I had known, I could have done a much better job of this. I can assure you I'm not very happy about how they handled this at all!
