Well, I have no idea what that means, but it sounds quite cool. I'm looking forward to it. Good luck Penelope.

Good luck, Penelope. I'm definitely going to drop by, and will be impartial, but I can certainly wish you luck now, can't I?

I can't help but be kind of excited, even inspired as this is by an unfortunate unfriendliness. Your rules remind me of how I school myself in regular Write Offs.

*grin*

Normally I post on the other persons submission but this time it seems better to remain isolated. Commenting on posts on our own submissions [one per reader comment - keeps it tidy] I thought a lot about these rules. I sent them to Titus [cc'd to Crowe] to make sure he was in agreement. I extended the deadline to be fair as Titus has not competed in a write off and I have. I also thought about it only being scored by posted comments to prevent side swiping. I think that's fair too. I am a fair minded person.
You most certainly can wish me luck. I expect everyone to be impartial. I know that's the way it should be. I will do my best as always Kitten. Thanks

Penelope

I'm looking forward to this write-off. It should be quite entertaining. The petulant child vs the social firebrand. Although it will be hard for me to be impartial I will for the tigers sake. You got a lot of class as well as an abundance of talent. Let the games begin.

warmest regards
bob

To me Bob, nothing is more important than slicing through the rants and rage. A forum with decorum was what was needed. I made the suggestion and he accepted. We shall see. I'm half way through my story as I post this. I spent my graveyard shift thinking about the possibilities. I can think and sort mail at the same time as long as it's quiet. and boy is it quiet where I work. A grand total of four people and I'm the noisiest.

Hmm . . . I don't know if I can be impartial in this one, so if it's all right with you, Pen, I may sit back and watch the games . . . good luck

Is it just me, or did they change the rules this time?

The rules are changed and I don't expect you to 'sit back' Lily.
I modified the rules about scoring because I don't want anyone to sideswipe anonymously. Nothing would be gained by that. If you have an opinion in this contest, you have to be up front about it. Titus was up front about his opinions so I felt the same should apply to the write off.

I doubled the time line because Titus has not participated in a write off before and I have. My story is already finished but for some final polishing. Wrote it this morning.

Remember Lily, I nominated you for moderator and one of the reasons I did is because I believe you to be a fair minded person.
