Interesting changes, Chris.
I don't think you ever mentioned Writers Unbound before, and suddenly there's all these article links (is that another one of your sites? It looks like it's fairly well established already, so I'm assuming it's been up and running for a while?)
But just a plea from one who doesn't run his browser at full screen width - could you make the right hand panels a bit narrower - the main forum suddenly looks very cramped, and it's a shame 'coz there's all this blank space under that panel.

I launched Writers Unbound about a week ago, actually. It's been under development for a couple of months though. I mentioned it a few times in Majestic but that's the only place so far. I'll be promoting it pretty heavily starting next month.
I've made the right colum as narrow as I can and feel like that info isn't cramped. The form column is set to nearly 100%. I can see how in 800x600 and non-full screen it could get cramped. Let me give that some thought. I've got a few other little things to tackle but I'll try some alternate ways of doing it later today or tomorrow evening. I tried it in a smaller window and it does get a bit cramped. Once you get down to the post level it's okay, but the main forum index and the topic list all start spanning multiple lines and it looks a mess. Perhaps I could go with horizontal rows instead of vertical columns.
The right column was planned because more content will be coming to that space. Keeping that in mind I'll see what alternates emerge.

I tweaked it some. Reduced the right column from 195 to 120 and increased the entire page to 100% instead of 95%. I do miss the roomy look of the right column at 195, but I think this still works. It gives the forum more room which is what's most important.
I may try a couple more ideas, but this one will work, I think.

I like it. It's always good to have a change every now and then.

Hmm . .. I must say, I liked the forum better before, when it didn't have that whole section on the right hand side with links to the articles, but the articles are interesting too, so I think I'll just bear with it
