Lit.org submissions form.

Hi.

Just a quick thought about submissions on Lit.org.

Currently, when you post a piece of writing to Lit.org using the control panel, it takes you back to the submit form again.

I'd like to suggest that it should instead show you a preview of what your posted story will look like; ie the 'manage writing' screen instead.

Firstly, this will help the writers who get the formatting messed up when they post. There have been quite a few poems and stories that have been published double-spaced, or with other formatting problems. If the author was shown how it would look before it gets onto the site, they would have a chance to correct it.

Secondly, taking them straight back to the new submission form encourages people to submit several pieces at once, when in fact it is better to stagger your submissions.

Just a small little idea, that I thought might be helpful.

All the best,

Spudley.

I've bumped this up on the to do list. I've wanted to do this for a while now but keep finding other stuff to work on - lol. I'll get to this this week (along with some other tweaks to improve formatting).

Great suggestion!

Preview has been added, as well as fixing the formatting mayhem.
