Would Like Ideas For Flash Fiction, Please
I am going to force myself to write flash fiction pieces while I'm on the subway/bus during my work commutes, so I was hoping I could get a lot of ideas from all of you!
Any ideas (i.e. 'Man gets drunk at bar, gets into fight' or 'Monk falls in love with nun', etc.) you have, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

It actually sounds like you have a few of your own Wilma. Perhaps coming up with the ideas one day, and writing on some of them the next may be a better exercise for you, and serve to stimulate the story generator in your mind.
....but, since you asked...
A man becomes disillusioned with his life. He leaves everything behind to leave a secluded life in the woods. And....story. Sorry, dull, but i'm tired. All i have for now.

Crop duster falls asleep at the controls of his plane and, instead of crashing, finds himself...
I don't know, you tell me.

An extremely short puerto rican immigrant is trying to force his way into America, without ever realizing he's already there.

Close your eyes, mellow the brain and think of floating nothingness. Breath ever so slightly, and wonder.... Either you'll get something from the people looking weirdly at you, or another story will snap to attention from your thoughts...!
I love letting my imagination wander on the tube, or in a train/bus/car (not planes though, generally I'm praying on them!), and always try to have a notebook with me as a get most of my ideas there - or in coffee shops, weirdly - yep, i'm not too original!!
~Oh well...

Shyox, don't know if you were being 'funny', but I actually like your idea: it's quite the challenge!
(But not sure what him being 'extremely short' has to do with him trying to immigrate to America, LOL.)
Thank you to everyone else who offered suggestions.
