Well, if it's being published, there's no point to critiqueing it so I'm not sure why you asked me to look, TT. Also, posting it here can screw up rights and that publisher may not want you spreading it around for free.
I thought Samantha's age was indeterminate. Sometimes she seemed very young, sometimes she seemed more like a teenager. The transitions were rather abrupt and a few apragraph breaks should have been made where the dialogue and tags jumbled together. Otherwise, cute if rather predictable and melodramatic. I liked Mr. Turner.

Dammit, TT. I finally saw that you had posted something and I hurried to read it only to find that you'd removed the friggin' thing.

TT, I got your PM, skimmed the story and didn't have time to read the whole thing. Then came back only to find it gone.

To those of you who missed the story, a quick synopsis in terms of quality:
It wasn't bad, the writing was fine, but there was nothing spectacular that made it stand out from any of the other stories you see posted here. In short, Truth is not the great writer he claims to be, but rather an average joe writing average pieces.

That, I suspect, is because you are a liar.
Every other writer I know brags about credits. But then, they don't lie about them.
How sad that you are so small and insecure that you can't bear to leave your words up for critique; how squalid it must be, to be so afraid of exposure.

Now that's funny. Quickly and mysteriously published, but you won't know where!
TT is like the kid that keeps his gym suit on when showering after class. Wouldn't want anyone spreading the word about how average, or not so, he really is. Peer pressure and the internet, how he regrets the buttons he's pressed.
