There's your problem right there. How could any "writer" hate to write? Creative writing is the best possible writing. I don't mean any offence, but it seems to me that you want someone else to do your homework. Nothing else.
Sam.

well, sam. I don't think he is a writer if he hates to write. Probably just here to benefit from others, rather than participate in anything.

Ah, good old GCSE coursework..
I have to re-write two pieces of it because MY STUPID DAMN TEACHER went and lost it...-.-
Friggin hell.
Well. If you are really stuck, or just want to get some creative juices flowing then go to Seventh Sanctum. (Search it in google). Choose a generator for a story and bam, instant mind juice hehe.
It helps me to think of things. Whatever you do do not just take what it says and try to write something from that, 'cos it wont work. Same with a character generator. Instead take the ideas it gives you and mould something that is your own from it.
Or, you can make a character, and then make a plot based around that character. But that is harder... probably.
Just bear in mind that if you get a good plot, and at least one decent character you'll get a good grade. Hell I got a B for the first one I did... and it was terrible.
Good Luck in your GCSEs!

Before you start lecturing me on communism, take a look at my profile, I live in China. Can you answer me this, have you ever met a communist?

Dr. Apopolus: haha, nothing like talking out of one's ass is there?
anyway, I've never met a communist in person, but it really doesn't matter to me if they are or not. Some aspects of communism are appealing, but, to me, being raised in america, the whole thing looks rather odd together.
but, don't need to start an argument over money. That would be primal, haha.

Yes, I know you live in China. It hardly seems relevant as China has ventured so far away from anything resembling legitimate communism that it could hardly be considered communist in anything but name. And it continues to move further. Some scholars have called the Chinese economy more capitalist than any western democracy-- a sort of hypercapitalism. Have I ever met a communist? If you mean someone from a communist country, supportive of their government, yes. A party member? No. Again, it's difficult to parse out who is really a communist since the few remaining "communist" governments have evolved or warped the original idea to the point where it is hardly recognizable. I have met American "marxists," but they are often careful to avoid the leap to communism. Communism has failed, especially within western liberal democracies. That is why a communist main character in this setting is unexpected and interesting.
As for whether or not eating money would be a political statement, who are you to judge? If the main character says it is, then it is. We can argue about whether it is effective or not (I'd rather not) but if it is an act which is politically motivated, for the purpose of making a statement, it is a political statement, successful or not.

Of course, truer words have not been spoken.
I just can't get over how juvenile this eating money thing is. Sure if the character does it, and it's politically motivated, it's a political statement. But it's just so... juvenile.

Not everyone will feel the same way, but even if they do... People do juvenile things. The great thing about writing is that you can explore all sorts of behavior through your characters. Nobody ever said your characters had to think rationally or act like adults. In fact, it's often a lot more fun if they don't.

right on doremusjessup! I love wacky characters that just think differently. It is rational, just not society's rational, I guess.
