Baldric is on a distinguished road
First Chapter of Baldric (463 words)

I. The Journey Begins

Wake up , wake up , its time !
“Time ?
” “Yes , time or have you forgotten ?
Today is the day that Lord Beckett is coming for you , that you will join in his service . “ Be proud brother, for you will serve a great man and fight for our village.”
Proud , what do you know of this ? said Baldric ?
You talk about great things and proudness to fight for, you already wait , like father and mother that I shall return.
But what of those who won’t return? Those who die far away from home and loved ones? Those who fight for odd lands and people who are plagued by the wars we brought upon them ?
What of them, brother ?
What about the wives and children ?

Who will take care of them when all who could are dead ?
How will they live afther there husband and father are dead ?
What will happen to them if they are told there father is dead? Think of that , brother before you say such foolishness.
And so, Baldric left his home and brother Frederic and went to the Castle of Lord Beckett where his parents awaited him.

He greeted the gate-keeper, went true the gate, saw some of his friends of the village who were called to service as well. He came to the armoury , picked up his clothes , took a long sharp sword of the pick, grabbed a pair of boots and sat there he fell asleep and dawn came to the hills. There he layed peacefully, not aware of the danger yet to come. Until he was awoken by one of his friends, Gwindor . Together they went to the mess, had chicken with coocked potato's , laughed and drank, and all the worries were forgotten.

Yet al of this would change, not only for Gwindor or Baldric but for many, not only in Cârnain but in the entire world. It started in Tir Vonaïl where the elves live and spread word in Firgon where many dwarves traded with Man. And as all races knew Man spread word fasted and soon Cârnain shook by the prophesy that was fortold.

A man will come and see ...
His sword of steel, it blade is real
He calls upon the elf and dwarf
To stand and fight the evil king
If not we do, then he will win.
And shadow come upon the land,
And all the beauty will disbanned.
So listen now and be prepared,
In May the battle be disbarred.

Well... uh... I'm gonna be honest with you here, mate. That huge blob up there should be broken in to more than one paragraph. I couldn't read it. I tried. But it needs proper spacing. Every time someone new speaks, it's a new paragraph. Since I couldn't read very far into it, I can't comment much. I did skip ahead to the prophesy though. It doesn't really rhyme, although it looks like that's what you were trying for. I think you would be better served to perhaps make it not rhyme. On purpose. Just my opinion.
