Dead Love

I hope you guys like my first work and my first post. Please tell me about your opinions after reading it.

Dead Love:

It was just another day for him... just the same dull routine he was used to. He was walking as if he was unaware of the traffic and swarm of people rushing by him. He walked like a snoring troll, dragging his feet like he was being forced to move on.

Then, it just happened. The bicycle rushing towards him, shrill shouting, ringing of the bell. He was unaware of the world around him, until she landed right on him, her heavy body crushing him to the ground. He hurriedly got up and looked at her for a long time. She was lying down and panting, breathing apologies under her breath.

He helped her get up, and escorted her to the hotel where she was staying. During the twenty minutes of talk, they had become like two best friends who had met after several decades.

Her name was Natalie.. 17 year old brunette from Germany. She had come to Cuba for holidays in the summer. Little did she know that holidays were her last for eternity.

He liked her from the start. Big brown eyes, curvy body, long silky dark hair. The same couldn't be said for him but she liked him none the less. Adam was what she thought about, Adam was whom she wanted to be with.

Their relation blossomed, developing into a serious mature kind of thing in just 2 weeks. They dated like they had no tomorrow. Especially him, she had come in her life like a ray of hope, she had opened a new chapter in her life.

They left no place to explore, no area where they hadn't made love. They would stay together no matter what, ignoring the prying eyes and scolding looks of the adults. They were lovebirds, without a nest.

The inevitable had to happen. She had to return and she did, leaving him in a pool of tears and everlasting memories. She was himself torn apart. She had never loved anyone like Adam.

Born in a poor family, Adam had no chance of traveling to her country. Yet he promised her to do all he could.

Their lives were to change afterwards....

They tried their best to make up for the distance. Phone calls, internet chat, e-mails, love letters, cards, everything they could do besides physical contact. Yet, it wasn't enough. They needed to feel each other's soul. They needed to kiss and make out.But the distance was corroding their love. They were falling apart. They desperately needed each other.

At last, the bubble of frustration burst. She went into depression. She wanted to kiss him, hold him, touch him but he wasn't there. Adam was deprived of her love too. All because they grew up in different countries.

The fights continued, the frustration kept on building, their desired heating yet non were fulfilled.

Adam struggled, with his studies, part time job, his family and Natalie. For a 19 year old lad, it was too much, way more than he could handle.

2 years went on like this. Finally, the dreadful future they both were dreading became a reality. Adam went into trauma and finally in a coma. Natalie couldn't stand the news. She used to sit in the balcony daily, waiting for his arrival. One day, she never came back from the door which led to the balcony.

They were even buried separately. Their love unfinished, their dreams incomplete.

But.. they love birds had finally found their nest.
