Just scroll a little up and you'd see > Creativity > Short Stories > Meantime girl. You mind the exaggeration so I can't do anything about it.
Also, sure, if it's up yours.

Creativity doesn't mean "be as derivative as possible, please!"

Criticising a piece doesn't mean "be as lame and logic-less as possible, please!"
On a serious note, there was no self-pity in the piece. It was just something certain women feel. You wouldn't know that, unfortunately.

It's the role of young ladies of a certain age (and boys too, let's face it) to follow this path. It worked for Slyvia Plath...
It reads like the synopsis for a chick-lit novel. Meantime girl finally finds love.
Write the novel, space-girl!

In the meantime between that, at least take a look at his writings to see if his claim is of any worth, love.

There was. Just because it's implicit rather than explicit doesn't mean it's not there. And it's not just something that only women feel; I doubt there's many guys out there who haven't been good friends with the girl they'd rather be 'more emotionally involved with'*.
* Spot the euphemism.

Implicit self-pity, yeah. But I was just responding to Jolly's alleging me for being excessively cheesy. So okay, I'd rephrase myself ..
"There was no explicit self-pity to be allegedly called "cheese" or "whine" "
That might be true for guys too. But I've always come across the ones who're full of themselves, and don't admit they feel the negative emotions like, let's say, "self-pity". Oh what the heck, my general idea of guys has always been that they're jerks. (exceptions are there, so no offence meant) And yeah, it could be a misconception too.

Gees I love/hate when people write stories about me!
PS I want the rest of the book please, and yes you are good enough.

Maybe not. But you will be by the time you finish writing it.
And yes, guys generally like to present themselves as self-confident, and are usually jerks. But we cry too - generally just when nobody's looking.

The irony is that not many guys admit it. I appreciate that you have the heart to do so.
