Lyger - Chapter 2

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ahem, you're funny. In any event, I just acquired some intriguing news about Alchen Necoon last night." Sehsaul began.

He flipped open a thick notebook, articles and little yellow stickies flew about in the terse analysis. Lyger grabbed a chair, guzzling the caffeine down, his throat tingling to the suds the only solace between boredom and anticipation.

"Whoopie." Lyger sneered.

"Okay! Basically, from what I gathered, Necoon succumbed to the Black Obedience last night." started Sehsaul.

"Good. A topic of some moderate interest. I'm listening...." the young man replied, sipping on the beverage.

"Ahem, there was a blood sample from the fallen boss and pictures of his damaged office. But the bodily evidence proves fruitless." continued Sehsaul.

"The blood is infected....send all of what you have to my V-Board account! What else?" asked Lyger.

Sehsaul's eyes scattered to the pictures in front of him, numerous stickies and photos were taped above his paper-ridden work area.

"I matched the sample to the equipment at my lab....no go! The Justice Force's crime prevention agency has insufficient technology to handle infected properties. The poisonous fumes would disease its cyberspace nucleus in mere seconds, so I quickly discarded it. As for the pictures, they'll be attached to the V-Board Post. Make sure you scan it for viruses; there's always a 0.001% chance of some foreign radiation." he examined.

The other man nodded, rising from his chair.

"Get back to me on other material, alright? And it's friggin' dangerous out there in Spectra! Be wary of the Darknoids!!!" Lyger warned.

"Oh, okay Lyger. I'll stay at the lab and take care of some work. Bye!" said Sehsaul, waving to him happily.

"Yeah." concluded Lyger, the transmission fading.
