I liked it, way better than what I could do back then. That was actually the age I started getting into writing.

HorrorCrafter, I think what you do is awesome, teaching is one of those things I have alot respect for. Its something I want to be after I get out of college. Though so far my expiernce as a teacher Aid at a middle school hasn't been too successful. The first year, was good, I felt I did some good but hte second year, I felt like I wasn't helping, so I just quit, and now I have no Workstudy Scholarship, so I can't go back next year.

Thanks Eatyourface, and what a cool name. And Gohn, I really think you already ARE a writing teacher. But I can say its the best job in the world. Your problem was that you were in the wrong school... never go near a middle school. Stick to the elementary schools. Whole different world. You'll be great at it, I'm sure.

That is awesome! Just imagine what those kids are gonna be like in a few years.

This reminded me of a friend of mine, who had The Mask of Red Death read to him as a bedtime story when he was a kid. He blames that for his morbidity. Getting kids to write horror must be really interesting.

I didn't realize kids that age could do that! I actually find it kind of motivational. If you get an idea, don't second guess yourself and run with it. I'll take that as my lesson for the day.

I'm really glad someone found inspiration from these.
HHAT for second grade! These boys were 8 years old.

Giggles, I like them. Kids can be so morbid, ha. My youngest always wrote scary and morbid stories to the point that the teacher told me she didn't think it was healthy. But to my way of thinking it was her outlet, an easy way of expressing thought without action. Some kids have sports, others music, and some need to write.

Have fun with those children. They all grow up to be beautiful in their own ways.

Hey, Kim, it was your daughter's teacher who was morbid, not your daughter. Who, exactly, did she think was?

Sound familiar?
