Short story to Screenplay

Does anyone here have a story that they may wish to turn into a screenplay?
I am looking for a story with egdy characters and original great dialogue.
The characters should be colourful and multi-dimensional, not black or white and one dimensional.
There should be a strong conflict present.
A romantic comedy with a humourous conflict will be fine too!
Let us talk turkey!

frankly speaking, my question is why don't you use of your existing stories (or write a story of your own) to turn into a screenplay?

lisajane is an unknown quantity at this point
I agree with Crzy. I'm doing the same thing now, but with my novel (the screen version's going to be slightly different and is in the planning stages now).

Why am I asking?

I do write my own scripts with my own story.
I find that my stories are great, but the dialogue is not strong.
Some writers can easily transcribe their work to a screenplay.
These writers do not need me.
Most authors prefer to write the story and do not wish to be restricted by script format and points.
This is not a service for which I charge money, more like a free colaboration.
