My Red High

Check out my new story. It's called My Red High, and it's a horror/romance story. Not exactly the most common combination, and I hope I did it well.

You can read it at its page on Evega's Diary.

WOw that was amazing. I hung on every word. The only thing is, I got a little confused at the end. About the children, does it mean that she was the woman with the baby and she killed herself? And how was she walking around with that injury. I'm sorry if I seem stupid, I just got a bit lost. But I loved it, maybe if you could explain the end to me it would help. Thanks and good job!

No, she wasn't the woman. He said 4 children because she had 3 miscarraiges and said to Christian that the other woman's baby was hers. Should have been hers...I think.
And I have heard of people walking with serious injuries...lets just call it a miracle...hey it could happen.
I liked this a lot. Pretty depressing, but definately interesting. I read it so fast the first time I had to read it again.
Good job.

This was very good. A few typos but I liked it anyway. You have a good gift for description.

Wow! Thank you all.

As for typos, Dspellweaver, of course I have typos. When I get writing, I get so caught up in my own "high" that I make lots of mistakes.

As for the ending, it's sort of hard to say. My original intent was that she was pregnant when she was stabbed by Sam, and the fetus inside prevented the knife from harming her. That would also have been the fourth baby.

But, as FoggyImagination (and my girlfriend, who was the first to read the story) said, the "four children" could also mean the child that should have been hers.

It's up to the reader, in the end. One of those things where you decide what makes the story work for you.

Glad people like it. !
