Another short story I wrote today, this one nowhere near as good as my last. If you have a certain game show by Chris Tarrant you'll have far more understanding about the story (I hope!

)
Dangling from a rather tall cliff, the two humans only had a single piece of climbing rope that held them together. On the edge of the cliff crouched Angel her body barely able to cope with the inmense force of the rope. At the other end of the rope Jerome held on with moist hands, he was at the edge of his life.
It's interesting to see how humans would react when such a scenario arrives. The person, whom is Jerome for that matter, holding onto the rope dangling between life and eath must rely on the person who is at the top of the cliff. Angle is at a lost on what to do. Her strangth is weaking every nano-second, her futile attempt on pulling Jerome back up has been, somewhat, futile. Angel must now make a life or death decision. Should she continue hanging onto the rope and face the danger of being pulled down to earth along with Jerome and land with a crunch? Or should she release the rope now, call it a day and head home for a cuppa? Angel cannot phone a friend for help as she has no phone, nor she may ask the audience for help as there is none. Furthermore going 50-50 is out of the question since she already is in a 50-50 situation.
Angel reaches her final answer, releasing the rope Jerome falls to the ground with a satisfying crunch. Later on the police arrive, Angel, crying, explain how she tried to hold onto the rope but her hand slipped. The officer offers her a drink and drives her back home.
All that starts well ends well. Jerome's remains are being scraped off the ground while Angel lies in bed deep asleep. She's got a slight grin on her face, maybe she's dreaming of a happy time she and Jerome had? Lets take a look, shall we? Ah, no Jerome in sight, but look there's Angel, she's heading into a office and look at the way she's walking! So gracefully she glides along as if she was a millionare. Come to think, by releasing the rope Angel got the right answer and has just won herself a million pounds! So remember tomorrow, if you head to a place called "Insurance Direct" you may just see a very happy women who has bagger herself a million quid.
