Mind

Mind. What is a mind? What makes it? These are questions that may never find an answer. The mind is so simple, yet so complex and myterious. What is it? It is you. It is me. Its who we are. That is obvious.
That does not answer what is it, though. Some would say, that a brain is a mind. Nothing more than complex matter. While others would say, that a mind is an immaterial soul. Something that is unchangeable except by its own will. And then some may even say a mind is a combonation of these two answers. But still, what does it mean to have a mind? You can tell what does and does not have a mind very simply. You see another human being and watch them, they speak intellingently, with thought. They have emotions and opinions. You would watch a stone, it would not move of its freewill, or have emotions, it could not think. Perhaps these are the elements of mind: To have freewill, rational thought, emotions, opinions, intellect. The only beings that appear to have this are humans. So this is quite fasinating! Perhaps science will unlock the secrets of this mystery called a mind. Or perhaps the answers are not obtainable? This is quite a lot to think about. So in conclusion, I ask you, what is a mind?

Please give some feedback if you read this. I would appreciate it much.

It depends on who you ask. Mind and brain are forever linked. Are they two? Are they one? Does the brain direct the mind or does the mind direct the brain ? Interesting questions, no difiniitive answers. It all depends on who you ask.

Nice thought piece!

Warm Regards,
Bob
