    Screenwriting by the Sea

Go to robtobinscreenwriting.com for information on a great screenwriting workshop on June 7-8 in beautiful downtown Huntington Beach, California.

The workshop is led by Rob Tobin, author of 'The Screenwriting Formula' (Amazon.com) whose script, “Camel Wars,” is in pre-production with John McTiernan (“Die Hard,” “Predator”).

Participants learn writing skills by creating a treatment of a new script from scratch that they can use to create their next bulletproof screenplay. Fees: $295 (discounted from $395); Out of town, group and early bird discounts.

    Seating limited.

Contact Rob at scripts@earthlink.net or 714-717-4289.

These "pay us to show you how to write" things are always funny...but this "discount" is hilarious.

For only $295 I can learn how to write! I could have saved myself $80K in tuition. Who knew?

Hey, my writing program is also only $295, but the orignal price is $595 so with mine you save $300!!! Obviously a much better deal.

Oh come on, you can do better than that. How 'bout you price it an even $995 and then give uhh... $700 discount! Yah yah. But don't call it a discount. Call it a "blue light special", that way I'll recognize it as a watchcallit...Oh yeah, a deal.

Okay so if we live overseas, we add an extra $1000 to the fee to cover airfares.
