Anyone else going to this thing? If so, let me know. It's always nice to know someone at these events.

Not me. But it does sound interesting. I tend to view all of these "film camps" as BS taking advantage of the hopeful (if not out and out scams) but this one looks like it might be well worth it.

It's the part of the process that writers know the least about and unlike other aspects, it entails actual knowlege that can be taught.

Totally with you on the "scam" part. It's really hard these days not to walk into one. At the very least, I plan on making contacts/friends with other attendees. Who knows? That small bit of networking could be worth the price of admission if one of them gets discovered and takes me along.
