I do agree, I think Whammies are very important. but can be over used in a movie.
i also like plot revealing ones, like twists.
What I like about those is that if there is one in a movie and it reveals something that you didn't notice before, it makes you want to watch it again, and it changes the way you watch it from then on. I cherish those moments when i watched a movie and i have no idea that the reason someone said something was because of foreshadowing a major event. or watching a movie with someone who doesn't know it's coming.
