I've already got the script all written out, it's not very great, no real details just the basics of what the people actually say.
I've rewritten it and this is the main plot line,
It takes place right after the American Revolution, and it takes a whole different stance on how history would play out. Some might not like it because of how it plays out, but hear me out first.
So there is a council in which is deciding how America is being formed, government-wise and leader-wise, and they're rigging it all to be set up for America to start off. Believe it or not these are the good guys. The antagonist is a man by the name of James, in whom tries to gather a large following in America to take over the thirteen newly formed colonies. The main character, Mark, goes throughout the story at first hating the council because he felt America should be a true Democracy and that the president should be voted in, but then later, all of a sudden he has a change of heart and agrees that America should be first set on the right foot by the council's help.
Later in the movie, at the very end, you find out this sudden change of heart was because he had ended up joining James(who was very, very persuasive, I don't know how to describe him really, I suppose you could describe him as a man who always knows what you want to hear, and then he uses it to his advantage), and James used him to get to the council and remove them to take over.
Unlike with a happy ending, it would have a really twisted ending.
It's really still a work in progress and I didn't explain it perfectly, but that's really the main gist of it.
Any critique and advice would be nice, thnx!
