Specific Questions
Okay, I have a few questions.
1. If a charecter is eating or something, do you have to put in the action, everytime they take a bite, or only if it is something important?
2.If something is happening at the same place, with the same person, but at different times, do you make a slug-line each time?
3. What do you think of opening and closing narration on TV dramedys?

...the latter... and/or if you are showing something about the character... which would make it important...

|
...yes... noting the time change, if it's important for us to know...

...like it if it's done well and appropriate... don't like it if not...

A lot of this is just a matter of getting comfortable enough for thinking in format that it doesn't get in your way and filch your mind. Practice does that...and reading scripts!
One tip, think of what it is you're trying to say. It's probably not a bite-by-bite foodalog. It's probably, Jeff is eating while they talk. So:
Jeff continues to shovel in the fries while they talk.
