Hogwarts RPG (profile thread)

OK how about some good clean fun for the inner child in us all? I would like to propose a Hogwarts RPG just for the fun of it! You really can use your imagination for this one, lets see some original ideas for the british wizarding world!

RPG rules:
1) You may have 2 characters
2) You may not make somebody else's character say or do something, but your character can do something to somebody else's.
3) You may NOT use one of J K Rowling's characters as your own but they may make appearances in this as NPC's.

I don't really have a story line, I thought we could play around and just have some fun with this.

The story is set 11 years after the end of the great war when Harry defeated Voldemort. Professor McGonegall is the Headmistress of Hogwarts now, and Teddy Lupin is beginning his first year and of course is famous for his famous Godfather and the honours his parents earned for laying down their lives in the war.

We will need to invent new teachers for Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration at least.

Appearance: Dorjan is a tall boy, with fine cheekbones and dark eyes. He has fair skin and black hair.
Background: Dorjan's father is a wizard, his mother a muggle. Dorjan grew up as a muggle knowing nothing about his heritage as his father was killed in the great war and his mother hoped he would not have powers so she could forget the world that killed her husband. In her grief she tried to stamp out all evidence of magic in Dorjan's life however the boy had power and one day, his Hogwarts letter arrived and she could no longer hide the truth.

Appearance: Alexis is a tiny girl, not that this is to be mistaken for weakness, she has emerald green eyes and long black hair
Background: ever since she was little alexis had been showing signs of magic which her muggle parents just put down to sheer dumb luck, on the day of her 11th birthday when her acceptance letter arrived her parents where shocked to say the least, none the less off she went to start her first year at Hogwarts.

Appearance: Izzy is of average height for her age, with a slender build and fair skin. She has curly, dark blonde hair and wide brown eyes.
Background: Izzy's mother is a witch, and her father a muggle. Izzy grew up in both magic and muggle world, going to a muggle primary school before getting her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Because she has always had to hide who she was, Izzy is very cautious about her powers and somewhat shy.

House: Ravenclaw
Appearance: Alex is a tall man who has dark hair that rolls down until it is just above his eyes and ears. His ears are light blue while his skin is tinged grey.
Background: Alex was born with his tainted skin perfectly naturally, with no evil hidden meaning behind it. He was born into the world of a Pure Blood where everyone is taught to hate mud bloods and half bloods but he never really accepted it.
Position: Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts.

OK it's been a couple of days and there's only 4 of us so I thought I'd up it to 2 characters each if you wish.

My 2nd character is:

Blood Status: Pureblood (her Great Grandmother was a Veela)
House: unsorted
Appearance: Stunningly beautiful, long ash blonde hair, ice blue eyes and fine features.
Background: Xanthia was brought up in a Wizarding family living in Russia, her mother is Russian and her father English. Although related to the Malfoy's featuring in the books, Xanthia and her family haven't seen them in many long years as they were living in Russia and were not involved in the War at all. They moved back to England two years previously so that her father could take a position working in the Ministry and her mother could continue with her work as a renouned Master at Potions, creating all thinkable concoctions to sell to shops, St Mudigo's Hospital and anyone else needing a Potion who has the money to spend.

House: 3rd Year Slytherin
Appearance: 5'6", brown hair, anorexic, green eyes
Background: From London, has 2 overprotective parents who are totally obsessed with image. Needless to say, they were shocked by the letter that they recieved. During her second year at Hogwarts, Diane developed Anorexia and now spends alot of her time under the watchful eye of Madam Pomfrey.

I think that we should keep the joke about a different DADA teacher every year.

Sorry to but in and all, but wasn't the short term DADA position due to a jinx by Voldemort, which would naturally end with his death?

Background: Studying his last year at Hogwarts,, he is a bright student and also one of the profecors younger brothers.

Yes, when Dumbledore refused to let Voldemort join the staff as the DADA teacher, he's supposed to have jinxed the job - after that no teacher lasted more than a year.

I think I'll have a second character ready, but I won't put up the profile or play them yet since I'm falling behind a bit at the moment
