Of course, the slight problem with that is that in Book 1, Hagrid refers to Quirrell as a long term, or at least previous, teacher, so unless he was there for a year and then left straight away, which doesn't seem implied, I think Rowling may have forgotten something.

Well, there ARE plenty of plot holes in HP. But ... Quirrell is meant to have travelled in Albania (where he met Voldy) so perhaps he taught for a year, left, then came back after his travels?

Appearance: Deep red hair that is usually in a high pony tail, Blue eyes, tall, curvy figure.
Background: Not much is known about her. She went to school, then went out of the country when she was 17. It's unknown what she did, but her skills were definatly improved. She is an animagus and can turn into a fox.
Position: Transfiguration teacher

Name: Marry Murdock
Age: 14
Blood Status: Unknown. (doesn't know who her dad is)
House: Griffendor
Appearance: she looks just like her mom, but her hair is bobbed.
Background: She was born somewhere in Turkey, or so her mother says. (Her mom is Professor Murdock) When she was 6 her mother brought her back to England and she has lived there since.

Background: Parents move to England from America so that she could go to Hogwarts, so she's a bit uncertian about the whole british thing. She's very athletic, and likes Soccer, and it always confused when people talk about quiddich, because it's a different game in america, basickly without Beaters, and they call quddich Quad. Missed the train.

Appearance: Black hair that oddly enough has a green sheen and goes just past her shoulders, brown eyes and stands roughly 5'5
Background: Abbitha's father was a muggle and when her mother died he did his best to try and explain just what Abbie's inheritance was. He was so relieved when her letter came so he would have people like her to explain it better. After Abbitha graduated she traveled abroad and just returned home to teach at Hogwarts.

House: Hufflepuff
Appearance: Short light brown hair, black eyes, stands around 5'7
Background: Zella's parents where flower children who moved to Britain long ago and had her in their later years. Zella can be vary much like her parents and in sharp contrast to them, all depending on her mood. She's a vary good student but doesn't study as much as she needs to. She's just about to turn seventeen and is in the last year of her Hogwarts school career.

House: Sorted as Griffendor but truly should have been sorted as Slytherin
Appearance: Brown hair that he let grow down to his shoulders, blue eyes and is 5'11".
Background: Javen's family was from America. His family only recently moving to england four years back so that unknown to him, he could attend the best wizarding school available when he came of age. Javen all through his life that he could remember was able to control his thoughts and emotions and what he projected to others. When mad at someone he could make them believe he wasn't, when sad those around him believed him to be happy. His greatest victory to date was fooling the sorting hat to putting him into house Griffendor where sense then he has taken upon himself to cause them to loose as many points as possible. And now in his second year there is a new group of 1st years that he can try to stir up trouble with.
