Angels&Demons Affairs Thread

Hey Y'all

I've scheduled for the story thread to be made some time at the end of May (yeah, sooner than I thought...)

I've slightly changed the powers of Demons and Seraphs (see A Good RPG Idea... for more info on the synopsis of the RPG).

Demons have Shadow Manipulation. Also, Source Demons have NO emotion (which is why it is especially unusual when a Source Demon expresses love for a Seraph). Demons can also create a fire known as Hells Fire. The fire causes anyone (including Seraphs) that come into contact with it despair and anger. The amount of time this despair and anger lasts depends on how serious the burns are. Because this fire is a special fire, drawn directly from the pits of hell, Demons cannot manipulate fires from Earth.
Seraph's can manipulate Emotions (but not love... cheesy, I know) and also have the power of light. I understand that this is powerful, but when you consider the rules of a Seraph: the only ones that they can kill are Demons, and they understand how to use their powers correctly without abuse. ANYONE found godmodding will be warned, then removed if ignored. Seraphs also create 'White Fires'. These fires seem a blinding white. they emit more light than they do heat, but still the same amount as heat as any fire. They flicker the same as any fire.

Both Demons and Seraphs can heal, but it is not a quick healing, and it takes their energy. If, for example, your character gets a paper cut, it will heal instantly. if they are stabbed in the hand, it will take a week at the least to heal, and they will receive no scars and do not need stitches as it is impossible for it to receive an infection. If they are stabbed in the gut, it will be too much damage for the advanced healing to heal faster, so it will heal the same as any human (however it cannot receive an infection, and if it heals before you die, there will be no scars.)

Name: John Baptist

Race: Source demon

Age (large ages up to 1,000 are allowed): 198 years

Appearance: John is tall and striking. He is at least six foot five and has jet black hair. His eyes are a sparkling blue that always seem to sparkle despite the light in the area. He is well muscled after multiple battles and time spent training before he entered the human world.

Speciality: Shadow fire. An unusual power in a source demon but it is another form of shadow control, allowing shadows to radiate blistering heat and dark red light.

Personality: John is a source demon so he cannot feel any emotions but he has tried on multiple occasions and has developed the acute skill of faking emotions to fit in with humans and occasionly angelic beings. He is charitable, helping those in need. He is strong willed. And he wants to become more human.

History (since being on Earth): John came to Earth and was immediately thrust into battle. The first battles were short and bloody, the demon hordes washing over civilian towns and cities. John belongs to a platoon of demons and was one of those responsible for the destruction of the American navy seals team sent to sneak behind the demon lines.
He and his platoon were sent to New York to raise hell before the actually attack. He was stationed there when the first angels came down. He was ordered to engage them and did so. He fought and killed angels but stopped when it came to killing one (RB's char).
They have since developed a relationship that requires them both to sneak away from their sides to meet each other.

Funny.

I'll let you keep the shadow fire, but use it wisely. I shouldn't let you keep it, but it sounds like your character is between a war, rather than on the front-line fighting.

Name: Eliana Zeifraya

Race: Seraph

Age: 169(it's 13 x 13 before anyone jokes about the age.)

Appearance: Eliana has long brown hair that flows freely down her back most days. Her eyes are of a beautiful crystal blue that always has a loving tinge to them. She generaly wears a long one sleeved white dress or similar clothes when with the angels but when undercover(if this can happen) she wears a pale blue sweater and light blue jeans. She has a very femine build and is 5'9 in height.

Speciality (e.g. for Seraphs, Love, Giving, Hope): Love

Personality: Eliana is a very shy person, having few close friends among the Seraphs, she likes to be on her own reading, writing, or listening to classical music. She is very propper and polite and is the kind of person who if they saw someone dieing in the street would stop to give them comfort not matter how long she had to stay with them.

History (since being on Earth): Eliana was first sent to earth as part of a raid team against the demons, being a young team they were easily overthrown and she found herself alone, and unarmed against a demon. How ever as soon as she met his eyes she knew he wouldn't hurt her, in fact she fell in love with him, John. She was set up with another pair (this is assuming Mi and Cefor are still being Seraph) of seraph in New York. She spends as many nights as she can sneaking out to be with John knowing that if she's discovered, her world as she knew it would come crashing down around her.

Race: Seraph
Age: 849

Appearance: Michael is average build. He has brown-blonde hair, with stunning blue eyes that shine in the darkness. All in all, he is a very handsome being.

Speciality: Michael is the Seraph of Hope. When Hope is lost, the Seraphs turn to Michael to provide the help they need. This has gained him much popularity and respect. He has also been named the Protector. Protectors are assigned a single Seraph to protect, but so they don't go off-track with the Seraph, if that Seraph enters the Gloom (dies) the Protector does also.

Personality: Michael is the kindest being one could meet. Even at the darkest of times, Michael cannot lose hope. He will always find a positive side to things. His kind nature and his strictness to those who are negative has earned him popularity and respect. Many Seraphs even consider him the General of the Seraphs (the creator being the leader, still). He is known by all Seraphs and Demons, and should he die, all would lose the hope he fuels to them, making him top of the hit-list of the Demons.

History: Michael was with the first squadron of 3 to make it to Earth. This was when the first few Source Demons appeared on Earth after being banished as Seraphs. The other two he was with were killed by Nero, Michael's equal of the Source Demons. He survived, and slowly his strength returned to him. After 100 years on Earth, more Seraphs arrived. they look up to him for help and wise advice. He soon became known as the Bringer of Hope. Now, as the armies of the Demons rise again, Michael is very well hidden, only known by few Seraphs. He is still consulted upon for help and hope.

Preferably a good RPer for Nero (kind of like the head of the Demons, other than Satan)

Yeah, you can be a Demi-Demon if you want, Mi.

It's human that was converted over time to a Demon by a Source Demon. You're not a full demon.

And RB, I think you should concentrate on Eliana. She's a big MC.
