    SuperHero RPG - Continuation

    Here's my basic idea:
The creator of the original thread (as far as I am aware) has left.
The characters were great but without the creator (the only one who really knew where the plot was going lol) the story faded away.
I'm not one to let good characters go to waste so here it is. The SuperHero RPG - Five Years Later.

The basic outline is that the four characters from the original thread (played by Me, Renos, Cold Twilight and Aurashield) solved the problems from the original story and have gone on to try and train a generation of teenagers who have developed super powers. In this respect it is a school. The teenagers are the pupils while the four original characters are the teachers.

The pupils are being trained to deal with a new threat and that is an army of plague bearing children. The plague takes over their bodies, forcing them to try and kill all others. Every child in the US, Canada, Austrialia and Europe has been infected. When anyone but a child is exposed to the plague they die immediately, often in horrible and unimaginable ways.

    Players - Characters - Power
    Teachers;
Nefieslab - James Johnson - Power to manipulate and create any form of shadow.
Renos Bebe - Flare - Power to change shape to any animal she can think of.
Cold Twilight - Dru - Power to create and control fire.

    Students;
Monkuta - Jack Malifi - Power to control strength and IQ through changing size.
Tom - Samantha Deeps - Power to increase the speed of any part of her body.
Mi is Happy - Natatia Erikson - Power to possess people and objects via skin contact.

    Aurashield - Maggie (pending placement)

Come one, come all! Become a student and try and stop the killer children and destroy the source of the plague!

to RB - Woot! Go the mute with the most!

to Kast - State your character name, age, power and small background info and you will be the first to enroll!

to Foxee - I have lots of work to be doing at the moment, two paying story arcs, six RPs that I'm in (one of which is my own), five web comics to read every two days (lol), a friend to have a chat with about making a move on my girlfriend while I was away and some other stuff I since forgotten There is nothing but time in this world of ours.

two arcs great...! now if I can finally move out of the area of writing that it is in I'll be fine *shudder*

as for the move on my girlfriend... it wouldn't have been so bad if she hadn't gone with it. The idiot forgot that his brother in the room accross the hall is my best friend.

Sounds like a talk with the gf is in order, too.

Anyway, not to derail your thread. I still am tempted by this. Maybe I just want to be a student again! No...no...that can't be it.

The talk with the gf has been had. My friends gave me marks for being gentle about it and not blowing my top but I really should start to call her 'the EX'.

And no Foxee. Being a pupil at the acadamy will not be 'fun', for the character at least. My character is one of the teachers and he can only feel human emotions when around Flare so he's going to be making it tough cus he won't care if he pushes the kids too far cus he won't feel sorry for them but I'd love to have you aboard... pretty please?

lol. Sounds like Dru should come back to mitigate some of his more...dangerous...inclinations. By this time, she should be really something with that fire of hers.

So are the students gifted with superpowers, too? Sorry, not sure the premise.

Oh, and what ages are we talking here?

This looks good. I'm a Smallville fan though, So I'd have to be either:

    a) called Clark Kent
    b) Have either strength, speed, fire eyes, x-ray vision, ice breath or...fly.
    c) have a very pwetty girlfriend.

I'll go for c No, Im very interested in this though, give me some time to think about a decent power.

Yeah the kids have superpowers but half the reason they're at the acadamy is to learn how to use them properly. The other half is to stop the plague, with or without powers. All students will be taught how to control their powers, how to fight with one melee weapon of their choosing, how to use firearms and how to create very dangerous mixtures such as home made explosives, napam, petrol bombs and incendary bombs. They are taught to survive as well, the instructors already knowing that most cities are now inhabited, or rather controlled, by the plagued and knowing that after missions it may not be possible to get the students out of the area in the same day.

Ages are normal secondary school ages, people from the age of eleven to about eighteen. This may be a bit awkward cus the teachers aren't that much older, James, for example, is 21 because he only ages by one year for every five that pass, cus he works part time as Death.

That answers you questions I think... if you're still unclear, say so now.

Should we post some sort of Profile?

I came up with several power ideas. Time-Travel, Immense Strength or the ability to use Nearby electricity as a source or a weapon...I'm still thinking though

Make a profile if you want I'll make an amended one for James actually...

    Name: James Johnson
    Age: 21
Power: Power to create and manipulate any shadow.
Profession: Teacher of two classes, melee weapon class and survival training, and Part-time grim reaper.
    Background:
James met with Dru and Flare five years ago. This was when he was was getting used to the idea of being the grim reaper and gaining powers from that. He faced Arthur and Dru as an enemy at first but quickly corrected his mistakes and swore to give one favour.
Arthur requested James' help and he came running to his aid, despite personal enemies. He got sidetracked on his way to helping Arthur and met Flare for the first time. He was then captured by the company that Arthur and Dru worked for.
James decided to leave the company but confronted Flare before he did, confessing his love for her for the first time in the corridor. He then travelled with Flare to Korea where he ventured into Hell to try and find more of his powers. He was only slightly successful.
James then travelled with Flare to the carribian and met an android. They took the android back to the company after a breif encounter with James' uncle.
When he arrived at the company he fought and killed one of his uncles, his father and he wounded his other uncle, letting him escape out of pity. James and Flare travelled to a white mountain and remained there for quite some time before they returned and help Dru and Arthur fight the company. During this fight Arthur went missing and has been presumed dead.
When the plague appeared James, Flare and Dru set up the acadamy to teach their students how to defeat the new threat.
