haha, i love winning.

Oh, this isn't over! I just have to leave work now...

hahaha, well, i guess i should go and sleep, got school.

Hey may I ask, how many people are allowed in the band ?

There is still no drummer, bass player, and depending on what type of music this is (ie. nu metal or irish punk rock) no dj, or bag piper...haha

It says 5+ on the first post. So I think that sounds good. We do need a drummer.

okay guys... this is looking good. We have a front runner for Lead Singer (make that the only runner), two runners for lead guitar (I warn you if you two start messing the song up even a little bit John will come in and kick both your asses :p), a rythem guitarist who's really quite protective of his musical creation. Oh and a manager

Well we still need a drummer and a bass player... not to mention any additions such as DJs (Mr Hahn from Linkin Park for example), extra drummers (Slipknot had three i think) and any other random musicians (this is multi genre after all...).

Well all updates will be put into the first post so fair be warned.

as many are reasonable. rock bands are, on average, made up of four people while Nu Metal bands can be anywhere from four to nine. We'll stop before it just gets stupid I guess is what I'm saying here

Hey, this seems like a really cool idea, but unfortunately the only thing I know remotely about has been taken, so I had a question.

Would it be possible to be any of the following:

Lyricist: A Person who writes lyrics for the bands, and other bands as-well.
A backing vocalist: A person who basically backs the previous vocalist up?

A lyricist I have no problems with but the back up singer park is a bit iffy in my mind. The whole idea of a band is that when they perform live, no one leaves dissappointed and no one is able to point at someone and say that they didn't do anything. A person who's sole purpose is to be a back up singer is not really that great is it? I mean you could be the back up singer but you'd have to take on another role.

Basically Foxee we're going to highlight the life of this new band, how the different musicians/lyricists/manager(s) work together during the creative process and in general. Think of it as an exercise in real life... but with drugs, sex, booze and music.

The risky part to me will be the live shows. I know I said that every member must post during a gig but it will still be difficult to actually give the impression of a real show. I just hope that we can descirbe it all and not forget any details.
