Faith just laughed and stared at him, interesting

Scarlett glared at Nikolai as she listened to his and Faith's conversation. She didn't like his attitude. Her anger began to flare. She could feel a growl building in her throat.
Calm down, Isabelle. You don't kill humans, she thought. She walked quickly to the front door. She need to leave to calm her temper down.

It was beautiful outside when she left the building. The rain was falling hard. She loved it. She had been bitten so long ago the sun didn't even tingle her skin, so she stepped out into it. It splattered down her arms. If she were human it would have felt cold and yet wonderful, but she was a vampire. It really didn't feel like anything.
Nikolia's words rang in her head. ...by killing abominations like you. She was a freak, she had told herself that for years, yet his words, though directed to Faith, stung her like knives. She began to think of her past life.
She had forgotten a lot of it because of the ravages of time, but there was always one thing her memory always reminded her of. It was her as a young girl. She was praying at an alter with a gorgeous cross around her neck. She had a soft smile on her face. She had decided that day that she was going to get married to her love, Wilhelm, even if she had to face ridicule. They were of different classes and women never could choose who they could marry.
She could never wear that cross again. She still had it, but she couldn't even touch it. How she longed to hold it.
She shut her eyes and allowed the rain to roll down her face pretending they were the tears she couldn't produce. How great would it feel to cry.

Alarc loved the rain. In all the time which he had lived, it remained one of the few constants of life; the sound, the smell, the feel. But now was not the time for him to get emotional. Deciding that the day needed a spark of interest, he strolled over to the half-caste in the corner.

"So, ready to amplify your status as a blood traitor? I sure am."

Faith shrugged, "I'm only half cast, so techinically i'm not a blood traitor, unlike you" She didn't even look at the Vampire talking to her, and smiled suductivly at the hunter she was talking to eariler, knowing eventually he'd cave and look at her, no man she had met in her 6000years of existance could. "So, why are you betraying your vampire heritage?"

"I feel more akin to the human way of life. Knowledge is power; it can supersede even raw strength given time. Vampires do not understand this."

"no, the only thing they understand is a silver bullet to the head" she still didn't look at him, the hunter intriged her, one of the perks to being half human, i get to feel emotions, She thought keeping the suductive smile on her face.

Leaning again the wall Nikolai brooded...He watched a film a couple years ago, some famous vampyre movie, the name now eluded him, but it showed three temptresses...He knew the lure of vampyres, many used this unique talent in their last moments of life before he pulled the trigger to extinguish them. Refusing to make eye contact we pulled out his smokes, opening the top of the pack he noticed he only had one left.
"Ohhhh hell," he cursed. Being here with them and no smokes is going to be the pits he thought, but getting soaked in the rain on the long walk across town looked worse.

"Well, if you'll excuse me i'm going to go make a human friend" She grinned at the Vampire and walked over to Nikolai, reaching in to her back pocket she pulled out a packet of smokes and handed them to him, "I'm trying to quit" she said keeping the smile on her face knowing full well he wouldn't look at her.

(This post is assuming all of the "good guys" are at Ardance Industries, please correct me if that's not where you intended your character to be. Bad guys can ignore this unless they also play a good guy.)

Arthlis ignored the many conversations in the room, but took time to look up from his computer to check the time.

5 o'clock. That's when normal businesses ended their workdays. He got up and ltook a peek out the office area window, which overlooked the main factory. Many of his "employees" were leaving, while some shifted to their guard duties. (These are random NPCs which are only in the story to keep Ardance Industries from being massacred while Arthlis and the others are gone)

The other workers (typically those who didn't have the physical capabilities to fight vampires, but still helped manufacture the weapons) left to go to their homes like ordinary workers.

Arthlis waved to the few who looked up as they left, then turned to the hunters who had gathered around his office area, and cleared his throat in an attempt to get their attention.

Hearing rustling Nikolai looked up and saw Faith walking fluidly towards him. Without looking up at her he felt something being placed in his hands, a fresh pack of smokes. Oh hell he thought again...
"I'm trying to quit," she said to him.
Nikolai was thinking frantically of something to say, but someone came to his aid. Arthlis had cleared his throat and was trying to speak. Nikolai grunted a thanks to Faith then focused his attention on Arthlis, not knowing what to expect.

"We still have to wait for nightfall," Arthlis started, "But I'm glad you're all here."

"Tonight is going to be an important raid. As I mentioned before to Scarlett, I hope to capture one of our enemies. We'll need that more than we need to destroy their blood supply. Once we've got that under control, the blood supply is all we worry about. Destroy or steal what you can, it doesn't matter, so long as they no longer have easy access to blood. As always, we'll want to be on our guard, as it's possible they'll know we're coming. We've still got a few hours before sundown, so do what you need to prepare, we'll meet at the usual place at 8:00. Any questions?"

"I'm in, but I've never hunted in a group...So wheres the spot and whats the plan? How does it all go down?"

"We'll meet in the Ardance Industries warehouse near the docks. Our plan is to attack one of the vampires' blood-stockpiles. If they don't have blood, it will force them to fight us, rather than hiding. They can't risk being revealed, same as us, except we've got the advantage, and we need to keep it that way. The priority in tonight's raid is to capture one of them for interrogation, and to destroy or steal as much of their blood supply as possible. They've been planning something, but we need more details before we can begin to get ready for them, which is why we need to capture one of them, at all costs."

"okay i'm in" Faith said not looking up, "But i come with one rule, there's a Vampire called Dominic he's my kill/caputre okay?"

Interested by this request Nikolai looked at Faith, trying to determine what importance this Dominique had to her.
Before Arthlis replied to her, he leaned close to her and whispered, "Who is he to you?"
Maybe he leaned too close, he felt that familiar temptation...and quickly pulled back.
