Alarc moved towards Scarlett, making sure he was out of earshot of the two humans. "We've got a major problem here, and I'm not just talking about the two who are effectively MIA. The male could be useful in battle, but he's still got nothing on us, and the female, well, the less said the better. My preference is to get him to help the girl escape, and we'll go after the half-blood and her friend, but I doubt that our tag alongs will be too happy with that. Have you got any better ideas?"

Nikolai was collapsed in the corner when he heard the door open. Snapping his head towards the enterance he saw Faith's body being hurled to the floor. The door was shut as quickly as it had been opened and Nikolai jumped to his feet and skidded to the floor beside Faith. He rolled her damaged body onto her back and looked her over. She was covered with bloody wounds and looked tender in many places. He had heard her screaming for what seemed for forever, and felt her pain with each yell.

Gently he pulled her hair off of her face and hugged he, glad she wasn't dead.

Faith felt Nikolai pull her into a hug, her wounds starting to heal alread. She just kept her eyes shut as she brought her arms up to return Nikolais hug greatful for the closeness, greatful for the friendship he was showing her, "Thanks" she finally murmured weakly.

Nikolai did not respond, but lifted her broken body and carried her to the bed. He set her down gently on the hard wooden bench and sat down beside her. He took off his shirt and began cleaning her wounds, knowing she would be fully healed soon due to her vampyre blood. This really hurt him inside and conflicted all he had known and battled for nightly for as long as he could remember.

As the bones in her body began to heal she let out a moan, brining up an arm she touched one of the tattoo's on Nikolais chest the one of crucified Jesus, she smiled, "Christan?" her voice was soft as she smiled, the wounds on her face healing allowing her normal beauty to show through"

Nikolai smirked at the question, "No, its more of a social club" he responded looking down at the Faith's hand on the tattoo. A rip in his shirt exposed the tattoo and Nikolai reflected on the fact that Faith is now the only living soul who had seen it, all the rest had died. All his brothers in prison died at the hands of vampyres, the hands in which he was now in the clutches of. Nikolai would have preferred to put his jacket back on but the dungeon was stifling, and to do so would just drain him of more bodily fluids he would need desperately over the next..well he didn't know how long.

Looking away from his own body Nikolai's eyes focused on Faith, he was amazed to see the sheer amount she had healed in such a short time period. "The ability to self heal would have helped me out of many situations," he said simply, Nikolai had always had troubles conveying serious and complex thoughts. There was so much more he wanted to say, his very soul was being torn apart by his conflicting emotions. Could he really care for this woman, this creature? He felt a bond, but it was probably only due to the situation he told himself. Never the less she was half vampyre and he had sworn to himself to kill as many of their kind as he could. Nikolai was utterly confused.

Faith smiled at Nickolais answer as she forced herself up in a sitting position, reaching under her shirt she brought out a small silver cross,
"Twas my mothers" she said quietly her eyes not really focusing on anything, she thought about the conflict Nicolai must be going through and sighed, "I know we lack the Vodka but do you feel like sharing why you hate vampires so much?"

Have you got any better ideas?"
Scarlett shurged, "Of course not. Are we gana do this or what?"

Nikolai sighed and sat next to Faith.

"It all started what feels like a long, long time ago. I was locked in the Soviet prison system, the GULAG. It had become my home, my sentence was for 10 years, but the things I did in there probably doubled it. We are always kept in the dark though, so I really don't know how much more time I had. I was part of the Thieves in Law. Maybe like a gang, but much more structured. We ran the prison from the inside, they were my brothers, the only family I had at the time. But just like all my other families they left me too.

"I was serving time chained to a pole outside in the Siberian cold for killing an inmate, and long story short while I was attached to the pole a pack of vampyres killed everyone in the entire prison. My friends, my enemies, my family. I swore to avenge my brothers, and that is why I hate vampyres. They left me alone on this god forsaken earth," Nikolai spat out the last line and stared into nothingness. Recalling that day he had never told anyone about, his eyes filled with rage and hate.

Faith swallowed hard, not looking at Nikolai, finding for the first time she feared him, closing her eyes she spoke slowly,
"oh" was all she could manage to begin with. She breathed in deeply and held the edge of the bench,
"I'm so sorry" she breathed looking down at the floor, her body shaking with a surpressed rage, her mind furious with her breathren. She remembered that night, she had been a slave of her fathers within that time period. She remembered being tied at home while they went on there killing spree, That was the night she escaped.

Nikolai stood up and began pacing. He looked at Faith, "It's ok, it's over. Now I just seek my justice, but my justice is overwhelming and unquenchable."
Nikolai walked to the far end of the chamber and pull his hands on the door. There was still nothing he could do, he felt helpless in the cell. It was his first time being in prison since all those years ago. He turned and walked back towards Faith, who already looked healthier.

Sitting back down beside Faith on the bench Nikolai ripped a strip off of his shirt and wiped some blood and sweat off of Faiths forehead. "How are you feeling?" he asked looking down at her.

Faith smiled slightly and looked at Nikolai, with a small grin,
"I'm fighting fit, what about you? you still seem a tough, edgy" She said this quietly as she sat up properly and streched her hands above her head.
