"Whoever is drugging me has to be stopped."

"Well, this is definitely a first."
Azraal managed a wry smile, the first time anything close to a grin had appeared on his face since he was captured. He knelt down to Tres' eye level.
"Don't worry about it too much for now. This room we're in at the moment was designed to allow us to exhibit our abilities. As soon as you finish you're first meal, they flush the suppressant out of your system, and they make you show your stuff. That'll buy you some time. You might want to think about resting for the moment."

Standing again, Azraal turned to face Phoenix. He spoke in the softest of whispers.
"Now would be an excellent time to get out of here. It's been bad for us, but this is something at a whole new level. And odds are, considering the way they've treated us, they won't care if she starts screaming out in agony. It'll probably be entertaining for them."

Phoenix nodded and glanced at Tres, then looked around, "you really think there going to call her up first, isn't it usually you?" She whispered glancing up at the guards shooting them an evil look,
    "Anyway, what's the plan?"

"Because you'd be lying otherwise." Willow noticed how the young man's gaze flicked to the various guards stationed around as he answered, and her jaw tightened reflexively. She could see the familiar emotions in him - the anger, the defiance, the fear and the weariness. He looked particularly wan, with purple shadows circling his eyes as though he had not gotten any sleep.

Yes, she would be lying if she pretended they weren't getting to her ... but that didn't mean she had no spark of vibrance, of life, left in her.

"Touche," she grinned, getting up and stretching out her wrist and fingers, which had suddenly decided to ache with cramp. When the pain receded slightly, she stuck her hand out towards him. "Willow."

Minotaur and Phoenix were locked in hushed intense conversation. Tres wandered away a few steps wishing that twenty minutes would go faster. She found herself caressing the metal streaks in her arms, longing for the comfort of her special ability.

The blonde man lounging against the wall caught her attention again and she stopped not far from him. He had an impressive set of muscles that would do credit to any competitive weightlifter.

“Hello,” Tres said, her voice low and still a bit strained, “do you belong to this circus, too?”

    ((She’s addressing Seth.))

Aaron continued on his walk around the facility. Since he had been in army intelligence, he was good at collecting and deciphering information. He saw a man with blonde hair, who was leaning against a wall, talking to a young woman. Aaron leaned on the wall, and listened to the conversation, as well as looking at the girl who was doing most of the talking. I haven't been spotted yet. I'll just stay here until either she goes or he leaves. Aaron said to himself, as he put his hands in his pockets and edged toward them.

Since I don't know anyone, I might introduce myself to her later...

Lily May Bale actualy made a mistake. She had just mouth off to a gaurd. She was so stuipid.
The gaurd, an intimidating man, glared down at her with such force that she could almost feel the grownd shake. "Watch your mouth, idiot," he boomed down at her.
Lily felt angryer than she could remeber, but she knew that he had a stunner on his belt. She wouldn't fight a battle that would screw her in the end.
She turned around and walked dramaticaly away from him. From the side of her eye she could see that the man was laughing at her. This made her angrier.
She would kill that man if it were the last thing she'd do. Then she would escape.

Typos are very important to all written form. It gives the reader something to look for so they aren't distracted by the total lack of content in your writing.

“Willow…” He sounded out her name as if he were critiquing it. “Pleasure. I’m Ace.”

At the moment they shook hands, he felt another wave of mental awareness. The drugs were losing their punch.

He realized that a crowd of other freak-shows were now gathered near the entrance. One of them, a particularly feisty one, was in the center. Her fists were clenched and her face muscles tensed. She relaxed slightly as a man said something that comforted her. Was that steel mixing with her flesh? Ace had never seen someone who could manipulate steel.

He turned back to Willow. Her hair was blood scarlet with rich dies of purple, blue, and green. It looked like it was once held up with hair bands, but was now sloppy and ill-maintained. It gave her both a fashionable, and an, I’ve been through hell today appearance.

He grinned at her originality. “So Willow, what makes you freaky?”

Namith groaned as he watched the strangers' attepmts to socialize. Especially the one with the ostentatious hair-dye. Just my luck to be locked up in some weird habitat, and be surrounded by wackos, too. Only the girl with the metal veins seems anything like approaching normal... besides the metal veins. Oh, well, he sighed, might as well do as the Romans do.

Namith walked slowly over to the entrance, a soft breeze playing with his hair and sleeves. He stopped a few feet off as the breeze picked up, and called out:

“Willow… Pleasure. I’m Ace.” After they shook hands, they lapsed into a momentary silence. As Ace looked around, Willow felt an almost staggering rush, like that of adrenaline, and her mind and senses seemed to expand, everything snapping into renewed focus and clarity, though there was still a faint blurriness at the edges of her vision.

It took her a few moments to work out what it was; the drugs were beginning to wear off. Elation at the realisation increased her renewed vigour, and a broad smile flickered briefly across her face.

Realising Ace was watching something across the compound, Willow half turned to follow his gaze. More people seemed to have emerged from inside, many of them as pale and wan looking as she had felt this morning. Obviously the drugs weren’t limited to just one or two of them.

She turned back at almost exactly the same moment as Ace, in time to see him take in her vibrantly coloured hair. A moment later she realised it was probably a mess; she hadn’t taken the time to do anything more than drag a brush through it when she woke up. Ah, well …

“So Willow, what makes you freaky?”
She looked back at Ace to see him grinning, and couldn’t help a return smile from forming.

“You mean besides the hair dye?” she laughed, “Water. I can manipulate it … or at least I could, until they drugged me.” A brief frown passed across her face before the smile returned. “What about you? Where do you fit in this little carnival sideshow?”

    "Anybody got a toothbrush?"

Phoenix looked up from Minotaur at this and shook her head,
"There should be one in your room, you can go there now!" she called back causually before turning her attention back towards Minotaur,
    "We'll alcho what's the plan?"

    "We'll alcho what's the plan?"

Azraal considered answering the question, but decided that there was something else much more interesting to chide her about.

"Don't you ever use logic? She's exhibiting symptoms of illness. The guards may not care about us, but their masters, from my observations, do care about what we can do. Their primary task will be to find out the extent of her abilities. So, they'll get her out of the way, and then it doesn't matter whether she's dead. For goodness sake, Cell."

Pausing for a moment to let this information sink in, he scanned the room. Nobody was happy here. Something had to change, but it wouldn't. Not until the opportunity was there. He decided to return to the original topic, having had his fun.

"You know as well as I do that the newcomer is our best option. They're going to give her back her abilities, and they don't know what to expect. We need to be ready with a surprise. Unfortunately, they might notice a gathering out here, so the meal is our only option. Unless you've got a better idea, Miss Leontief?"

Phoenix just smiled at the name, for some reason ti comforted her.

Phoenix grinned at this, "You mean stir up trouble, commander Avagardo?" She laughed wirely turning away from him and walking off. She slowly walked around the training facility, observing everyone she could. This was going to be interesting.

Tom woke up. This comes as quite a shock to someone who has spent the last two weeks in a medical coma. As a rule they're almost all under the impression that they'd died and gone to heaven. Tom was the exception. Tom sat bolt upright and began screaming, his body in terrible pain. All he could feel was pain, all he could think about was the pain and... a woman dressed in a colourful dress. A word kept flashing in his mind repeatedly, driving more pain with it. Family. Family. With the word came the powerful feeling that it was important. The pain died away. He looked around at the dark room before falling back down to his bed.

Trust a woman to miss the point...

This place is so depressing. I guess I just don't mix well with normal people. Everyone seems to have paired up but me. But at least I can enjoy the peace and quiet. I wonder how long we get to stay here? It isn' that hard to entertain myself, in fact, I have a great idea... Maybe the lake has some water spirits who're are bored enough to perform! That'd be perfect. I've been letting the North be too lazy. It's time for some exercise. Namith wandered towards the lakeshore, singing an incantation under his breath.

    To me spirits, ripple forth
Up ye come from frozen north
    Bubble, surface, float aloft
    Whisper waters, soothing soft...
