Thread: Elemental/Military RPG Profiles & Affairs

Okay, so guy's i know that there's a few RPG's out there and well, i wanted to try one for myself. I don't mind how many people join. I'll post a basic plot here and if i get enough people interested I'll put up a more detailed one.

Okay, the plot. The story is based in the year 2222, your characters would have suffered brain damage at some point in time and have been chriogenicaly frozen. The 'bad guy' (there's more than one it's a family buisness) has messed around with the chemical patterns in your brain causing you to be able to manipulate a certain element, either: fire, earth, wind, water, steel, lighting or Ice.

Okay there the basic details.
The world has been plummeted into a war. The orgainiseation that has threatened the earth developed a group of soldiers who can manipulate the elements. These soldiers are the ultimet weapon.

sweet, well i know that Tsaeb XII, Eliana and Kai are all in, so i guess i'll post a detailed plot tonight after work. cool, oh and just so you know, Elemental wise, i'll be happy for two of each if it comes to that, but for now i'll leave it at one.

I really want to do a group story! I've been turned down by some, and others just don't progress. I hope this one stays active. Should we develop the plot before we write, or are we going to play by ear? I would highly suggest taking the time to develop a serious story.

Anyways I'm in. I wanna see how this turns out. Maybe we'll all strike gold.

well, it's not exactly a group story there are some differences, for example, the MAIN storyline will be controlled by Tsaeb and I. but your all welcome to bring in your own sub plots if you want. for any new RPGer's i suggest go and look at either the infernal or The New RPG to get an idea of the set up.

I got dibs on the ice element

The year is 2222, and the world has fallen under the domination of the Tyen-shi family. The remaining free nations have banded together to fight against them, unfortunately the Tyen-shi family holds the ultimate hand in this war…or so they think.

Tyen-shi took each of the ‘soldiers’ from his or her respective time, after they were in a sever accident.

Locked away in an Arabic underground base a group of soldiers who hold the fate of this war in there hands is locked up hidden away to be used as a last resort…These soldiers were all genetically modified by the Tyen-shi family to be able to manipulate one of the elements…earth…fire…wind…water…ice…lighting…steel.

But the group don’t know who they are or where they are…each taken from some point in the past there memories wiped. The group know one thing though, they need to get out of here…before they are forced to fight.


Just some notes.
Your characters MUST have a background story explaining how they got into Tyen-shi’s grasp (meaning how they got brain damage)

Two, you must describe your own weapon, the weapon is dependant on your element.

Three, please NO controlling of other people’s characters and remember although this is the future it’s war ridden so be careful how far you stretch it. Other than that feel free to post your profiles and when there up I’ll start the RPG

Background
Phoenix grew up in a military based family, her sisters both in the Navy her father in the army. She was origionaly a paratrooper but was changed to piloting when she save her team from a fiery death when the planes pilot passed out.

She was on her first flight when she crashed her head hitting the control pannal of the plane so hard it caved the front of her scull in causing her sever brain damage.

Her original weaponry before the accident was a blade she cept by her sides at ALL TIMES, and her gun. The Tyen-shi family fused her power into her weapon, making it live up to it's name...Pyro's edge.

Dirty blonde hair, ice blue eyes, quite muscular, with a scar running down his right cheek and he wears different combinations of military camoflague gear.

Background:
The oldest of two boys, and three girls, Aaron was very protective of his sisters, getting into fights when they were being hassled. When he turned 18, the young boy left his home and joined up with the army, becoming one of the best special forces operatives that they had. One night, as he was walking back to camp, he was set upon by two masked men. He fought back, but it wasn't long before he was knocked out and unconscious. Before leaving, the two men kicked his head in, which resulted in permanent brain damage.

Family:
Aaron has a younger brother, Jack, and two younger sisters, Anna and Lee. His mother is Delia and his father is an ex-army field officer, Aaron Senior.

Skills:
Infiltration, guerrilla warfare, search and rescue missions and espionage.

Weapon:
His primary weapon is his fully automatic ice hail rifle. He can maniuplate ice to form into the weapon's shard bullets.

Appearance: Straightened hair, her hair colour is black, the tips are dyed deep blue and stretch for about 2 inches. Her eye colour is blue. Her clothing fits into the gentle style, it makes her appear weak and vulnerable. Her top is a halter-neck type coloured with primary blue. She wears cargo coloured 3/4 length pants. She wears black heels with wide heels so it makes it easier to run...they are extremely comfortable she was made to wear them when she was younger which means she is familiar with them.

Background: Ariane is the oldest of eight children (her parents were busy) 2 of which, were Siamese twins that died at birth because they were joined at the head. Ariane and her twin sister were left to raise the rest of the children at the age of 17 when their mother died of a drug over dose and their father committed suicide because he didn't want to mourn his wife any more. At the age of 20 she got a position as a lieutenant after she rescued 2 drowning people after a plane crashed into a river, and controlled the situation until the police/fire brigade/ and ambulance got there. At the age of 21 she was promoted to commodore of the British Navy. While she was on a cruise she and her sister were attacked by three covered figures, knocking the back of her head onto the toilet seat which made her unconscious and leaving her with severe brain damage and having no recollection of what happened that day; they left her there to die and her sister as a hostage.

Weapons: Ariane's weapon relies on the technique of her hands. She can re-create weapons that she has used in the past. The blade will consist of the same characteristics of the real blade she used, basically creating an exact replica of the real one
