    The Dates: August 3rd, 2007 to August 31st, 2007

The Word Count: Each story must be no less than 3500 words, and no more than 7500 words.

The Genres: Your stories must cover a minimum of four different genres. Now, we understand that stories often fall into more than one genre, but generally speaking, you’re able to pick out a story’s main genre. You’re challenged not to reuse a main story genre twice. If you write a love story, avoid having a romance in the fantasy story you also have planned. Clear as mud?

Editing: When we say edited, we mean you feel it’s ready to be sent out. If you feel it’s ready after a single edit, that’s your choice. If you find yourself polishing your story for the tenth time, wonderful--just keep the deadline in mind before you start on your eleventh time around.

How to Divide Your Time: This is entirely up to you. If you want to write all four stories in the first week, then spend the rest of the time editing them, that’s fine. If you want to work on one at a time from conception to final edit before moving onto the next story, that’s fine, too. If there is some other combination you think will work for you, go for it. As long as you have four completed stories by August 31st, you can follow in Sinatra’s footsteps and ‘do it your way’.

I'm signed up for this which means that if I'm not already certifiable, I will be. Please lock me up, preferably with my laptop...I need to get some word count done.

Aww Man, I'd love to do this, but for the next three weeks Im away on Holiday and will not be able write. Unless I can take my slow, little un-internetted laptop away with me, 99.9% being no, I wont be liable for it.

Sorry, I really, really, wanted to do this.
