    The War in Iraq

One of the strongest motivating factors for the War in Iraq is gaining control of the $5 trillion worth of oil there. America as well as other countries and the oil industry as a whole can benefit from the administrations control of Iraq. You complain about high gas prices? Limitations of our natural resources? We need to tap into the resources available, by any means necessary, for the good of our nation and others.

Iraq had and still has the capability to manufacture weapons of mass destruction and such weapons have been found and destroyed since the invasion of Iraq. These threats include chemical as well as biological weapons and they need to be found and destroyed to promote the safety of the United States, as well as other countries. America, being a strong and able country, needs to take the lead in protecting our nation and those less equipped to protect themselves.

Iraq is a proven supporter of the the Al-Qaeda. There is indisputable evidence of a strong Al-Qaeda presence in Iraq and that Iraq is a friendly and supportive haven for the Al-Qaeda. There is also evidence that the Al-Qaeda has made contacts with Iraqi people inquiring into weapons of mass destruction. America has a duty to safe-guard itself and other nations against the threat of these weapons and future terrorist acts. 9/11 should not be set so far from our minds. The people responsible for the death and destruction wrought on that day need to be brought to justice, as well as those that harbor and support them.

America, as a free nation, has a duty to protect and promote the freedom of others. We, being a country with the resources and ability to help a democracy thrive in Iraq, should not turn our backs, but help the Iraqi people fight for the freedoms we already have. Every nation should have the freedoms and opportunities that we, as Americans, have. Every nation should have a fighting chance for the American Life!

[so convincing it's hard to believe it's really "anti-" something; but, hoping you're really not Dick Cheney in writing forum drag, I'll continue the theme]

The War in Iraq, con't -- As Seen from the Political Base

Hell's bells ... and it's a "fightin' chance" -- that's what this whole deal is about. [spit, scratch between lower, inside corners of rear, jeans pockets, look down at ground in pensive manner, begin to probe ear canal with hunting knife point]

It's all 'bout keepin' alive our chance to BE fightin'. [withdraw hunting knife point from ear canal, inspect for evidence of foreign life forms]

In the immortal words of Richard Genesis Cheney: "We've been fightin' since the first dawn broke over Charleton Heston's gun barrel. And we'll keep fightin' for our right to BE fightin', as long as Charleton Heston's gun barrel remains lodged between the fingers of his cold, dead, head and hands." [remove wax from hunting knife point with index finger, bring to nose and sniff, searching for aromatic confirmation of existence]

An' I ain't talkin' 'bout "since" we was descended from some chimp chick named "Lucy," either. That's the kind a Dar-win-loser, "pussy-gone-a-footin'" stuff that only leads to in-ti-lect-ule hand-wringin'.

Hell's bells, just take a good look around. You mean to tell me that we got to where we is today, BY THINKIN'? No, sir! [wipe aromatic confirmation of existence on leg of jeans]

It's fightin' that got us here. An' fightin' that'll keep us here. Right where we is.

[spit, look audience in eye with long, hard stare, displaying power of belief in idea of power of belief]

Well zeplin, my idea was just to explore the fact that each side has valid points and ideas whether or not you agree with them...

    however...

This simply tickled me!!! Completely made my day... so gross.

    having to wear school uniform.

i think that wearing school uniform is an excellent idea. it had many plus sides and is very effective.

firstly, i think that wearing a uniform provides equality between pupils at a school. if there was no uniform then pupils would worry about what they are going to wear and whether their clothes are washed and that they cannot have the same top on two days in a row. with out uniform the difference between peoples attire would be providing yet another chance for the never stopping bullies to have a go at some poor child.
the children that get bullied for not wearing the right things will then pressure their parents for new clothes, asking for things that their parents might not be able to afford on a regualr basis.

also, it has been proven, that schools which insist upon uniform, get higher tests results than thoses who do not have to wear it. this is because it puts the pupils in the right state of mind to learn, it helps them diffrenciate between school time and home time, and they can consentrate solely on their studies rather than fussing over thier apperance.

finally, i think that it looks smart to see all of the pupils within a school wearing the same thing. "smartness is for school, individuality if for after school" is a saying a very wise young woman once said. (me)

all in all i think that uniform is a brilliant idea and the day that we decided we don;t need it (like America), is the day that we will collapse as a nation. the non-uniform wearers of this country is whats bringing this society down.

    thank-you
    Heather

[please do not take anything i have said within that peice seriosly, i am having a laugh.]
