    How are You Haiku?

    The challenge in here
is to write out your feelings
    in only haiku

    Take as many lines
to tell us how you're feeling
    and maybe tell why

    Talk about your day
Tell us a very cool tale
    about your neat day

    If you make comments
please make them all in Haiku
    Don't let me se prose.

    So I will start now
    after these few little lines
    of horrid haiku.

    .......................................

    I am Nikatu
Its very nice to meet you
    how are you feeling?

    I am feeling bored
    but also rather content
    so I am Happy

    I have a headache
with pain so fierce and so tense
    I feel I will break

    I dont like Haikus
    I do not understand why
    they only confuse

    so I sit here sad
    a throbbing obnoxious head
    wanting to be glad.

    I only wish that
    all my poems incited joy
    but mine suffer black

    I write about truth
and the sad story it tells
    often times too soon

    as a lyricist
    I am good with syllables
    thus I'm good at this.

    ah, I've had my share
    practicing almost always
    sculpting it with care

    I feel it an art
but one that we all can learn
    not born from the start

    sometimes its easy
    and others leave confusion
    but its how I'll be

    Pork chop on a plate
    And leftover potato
    Steaming nicely now

    Baby crib napping
A very good time for writing
    But then the phone rings

    Speedy exiting
Baby and cart on two wheels
    Looking everywhere

    Trotting to the car
    Looking on the driver’s seat
    Found it at long last!

    mp3 players
    created by the devil
    and mine is broken

    This thing is evil
    stupid malfunctioning screen
    music files gone

    Why wont it just die?
Then I could get a new one
    But no, it still lives!

    ah the day ahead
what lies for me to explore
    or despair instead

    but I will not grieve
or think that woe befalls me
    I have to believe
