    Weekly Flash Fiction Write Off

I posted this in the short story board, but figured it would be of interest here too. This contest is great for a little practice and doesn't take up much time.

Gaming World used to do this, but it faded away after a few weeks. I think it would work better on here since this actually is a writing site.

This is how it works. Each week there's a 'theme' to write a flash fiction (10 to a 1,000 words) story on. You post your story here along with a 'theme'. If your story wins, you become the new judge of the week and your theme becomes the theme of the week. Oh and the deadline for each submission is Sunday. Judging must be finished by Tuesday at the latest. Also you may bend the meaning of the theme as much as you'd like as long as it does resemble the theme in some sort of way. You may not enter during a week that you are judging.

A mod backing this up would help promote this too, that is if any of you Superiors are interested.

    Any questions?

This week's topic is: Unfriendly Curses

PLEASE POST STORIES IN THE TOPIC ON THE SHORT STORY BOARD, NOT HERE.

A story between 10 and a 1,000 words, but in most cases 400-600 words. It pretty much tells a really short story.
