    "The Thread"

I'm going to start "The Thread" on lit.org, make a new story. If you would like to submit a story, please tell us all beforehand in this section. You should have a clear idea of what you're going to put down, because it's important to have the thread move along. Other people want to contribute, and if you tell us you're going to write something and take a very long time, that's a hiatus for everyone, not just yourself. Also, not to be unsympathetic, but if you had an idea that would have worked wonderfully with the sequence, and were just about to submit it when anonymous_user did, then you'll just have to think of the story that fits the next scenario. Thank you, and I'm anticipating a large turn-out.

*EDIT* You can jump in the thread here.

    Excellent.... I'll join in.
Give me a few hours to write part two.

Interesting start... but I hope you won't be too suprised if the story veers wildly from what you were thinking of. hehehe.

What good would a story be if you could predict its path? I'll confess though, I was trying to make it a religious war ; ). Inf - Infidel. Oh well, it's not like this is the largest loss I've ever faced, right? Besides, I like what you've done so far. What happens next should be interesting.

hehe. a definite change in thought pattern, eh? (mind you, I haven't revealed much about these infars.... what they are and why they get killed is still pretty much open to whoever writes the next few sections ).

Yep. Looking forward to it. I wonder who'll take up the challenge....?

Hey, it's good that we've gotten a response so quickly, but I'm getting anxious. If anyone at all has a new idea, don't be afraid to tell us about it, and post it on lit.org. I'm talking about vets and some newbies, all are invited. Just write!

I'll jump in and take the next part. I'll have mine up by 10 pm Friday night! Also, I'll add a little ad for the thread on Lit.Org to get some more people jumping in!

Thanks. I was JUST about to get to writing that, when all of a sudden, I, uh, didn't. If nobody else jumps, I'm the most boring person on earth, so I'll see if I can't make something out of my Friday night and write the section after yours. Long live Kevin Smith, the master of stuff in general.

I'm very sorry, but I just can't seem to write the next part. I've sat down about 10 different times to try, and nothing is flowing!! This rarely happens to me .. Could someone else take the next part and I'll try again after that. I just can't seem to move this forward.

Aww. And I thought I'd done such a good job of setting it up...

Ah well. Hopefully someone else will get a bit of inspiration.

You did do a great job. For some reason though, I'm just having trouble with this material. I'm not sure why either because I like the direction of it.

It's about nine o' clock, and I'm cutting Malcolm in the Middle short, so forgive me if my next one is less than bad, but I'll give it a shot. You know, it's strange that other people aren't doing it too. Trippy.

I'm so conceited. I read over that story, and realized I've probably viewed that story twelve times. I could probably look in a mirror for twenty minutes without blinking. Ack. Anyway, Crowe, you gotta get someone writing. If you know anyone well that contributes regularly, ask them nicely to write something. Then, when they refuse, beat them into submission. We need more viewpoints!

I think "the thread" is a great idea.
I've read all three parts and now waiting for the fourth one.
    Where is it?
Still waiting.... and waiting..... and waiting....
    Hmmm.....
