    Age: 46

    Appearance:

I did have a picture for him, but it dosen't work so just look up "Ezio Brotherhood" on google images.

Skills: Free Running Master, Master Swordsman, Bow/Arrow and Throwing Knife Marksman, Expert Acrobat.

The title was passed on to his older brother, but his family’s job was given to him. The position of Guild Master of the Royalions had been passed down for fourteen generations of Williams. Each second brother assumed the position when his predesessor turned fifty.

Markus lived his life as any nobleman would, going to fancy parties and gaining an education from a multitude of tutors. As he grew into his late teens though, his father told him about the Royalions, and he began his training later that year. His father taught him about weapons, stealth, horseback riding and herbology. Markus excelled in a broad range of malicious topics. He studied different methods and techniques for assassination and fighting.

Finally, when he was twenty eight, he became the Guild Master. Over the next eighteen years the guild prospered, reaching a total of one thousand three-hundred members. That was, untill the king died.

Motivation: It runs in his family, so he fights for honor, loyalty and money.

You've said the A word. I am already interested in this RP.

    However, one burning question remains.

The time period of this RP sets the story in the middle of the English Civil War, before the King of the Royalist forces was even captured, let alone killed. If you wish to keep the original storyline, with the death of the King, then I would suggest setting the story in 1649. This is a year after the King was executed for treason by parliament (he was executed in December 1649 ). This way there will be a lot of tension within the country because of the death of a monarch for treason (which was technically not a crime the king could be convicted of as it would be betrayl of himself) and the termoil of two civil wars in quick succession. This also opens up the idea that the two Guilds could have taken separate sides during the civil war and were only coming to blows after the real civil war had come to an end.

The A word is my favorite.

To answer your question, this rpg is completely fictional. The king isn't Charles I, the king's name isn't even used. The time period was set only to give you an idea of the setting. And the king was assassinated, not exetcuted.

So it's fictional? Does it keep the same realm of possibilities and equipment available or are we going to have flying assassins in the 1600s?

    I'm in.

    Name: Leonardo Samael Silverman

    Nickname/Alias: Azrael

    Age: 23

    Gender: Male

Rank/Position: Guild Master (In a permanent state of hiding as a Captain)

Appearance: Strong jaw, pale skin, black hair down to his shoulders and clean shaven face. Blue eyes, tall and with broad shoulders. Appears to be quite thin but has the thin muscles of an acrobat underneath his clothes. In public, is often seen wearing a white dress shirt, black dress trousers and a dark blue jacket, with golden trim. When appearing as an assassin, wears a black dress shirt, black trousers, a midnight blue jacket and a plain white mask which covers the top half of his face, leaving his jaw free to move but covering his eyes with yellow glass slits (to instill fear).

Weapon(s): Hidden punch dagger, Rapier and a flintlock pistol

Skills: Master Class Swordsman, Crack shot with a musket, Master of acrobatics, Skilled Archer, Skilled Horserider, Bellow average poisoner.

Background: Leonardo was born in Vinci, Tuscany, on the first of July 1620 to Maria Selena Silverman and Edward James Silverman. Edward and Maria were married little over a year when Maria was pregnant with Leonardo. Edward was an englishman who had travelled to Florence to conduct some business within Tuscany, when he met Maria. The two fell in love and married in short order. Due to the place of birth, the Silvermans named the baby boy Leonardo, after the famous man who'd also been born in the area. Unfortunately, Edward's business in Florence was not the simple transaction between prominent banks that he had told people it was. Edward was the Guild Master of the Lytions, one of two powerful assassin guilds within England, and he was meeting with a similar Guild Master in Florence. The Italian Guild Master did not take kindly to Edward running off with his only daugher to marry. A contract was placed over the Silvermans and the first attack came a few days after Leonardo was born. While out gathering firewood, a team of assassins attacked the small cottage with guns blazing, expecting to kill Edward. But Maria was the only one to be killed. The Italian assassins tried to wait Edward out and hold Leonardo hostage but Edward's skills proved greater than their combined might. Edward left Italy with Leonardo only a few weeks after his birth.

Leonardo was raised by his father in Paris initially. They arrived in Paris a few months after Leonardo was born and Edward was able to aquire a wetnurse as he had done wherever they had stopped. With a much shorter distance between him and the Lytion headquarters, Edward was able to run his guild without being in the same country. Leonardo was given a private tutor at the age of four, when he displayed great intelliegence for someone his age. Leonardo was taught by two men however, his French tutor instructed him in reading and writing in French, Latin and English while his father began to tell him the history, structure and important details of the Lytion guild of assassins. In 1628, a few days after Leonardo's eighth birthday, the two remaining Silverman moved from Paris to the Prussian capital of Konigsberg.

As in Paris, Leonardo learnt from more than one tutor. This time he learnt German, further mathmatics and literacy from a local German tutor. His father continued to teach him the traits he would need to become a member of the Lytions, including biology and several methods of attack. His most important tutor was a master acrobat from Venice, who'd been exiled to Prussia. Leonardo was found to be a natural actrobat, with agility that would have taken years to develop if he hadn't been born with it. Edward quickly saw his potential in this area and fitted his teaching around Leonardo's skill as an acrobat, teaching him how to fall through the air so as to land on a specific target. Once again, the Silvermans moved when Edward felt his son had developed enough. They set off for England in 1636, when Leonardo had finished celebrating his sixteenth birthday.

Once they arrived in England, Edward hired only one more tutor. This tutor was to instruct Leonardo on how to act like the son of a very respected family and, after he became head of the household, how to act like the master of a very respected family. Although he felt a little chaffed by the strict rules of the court, Leonardo made his first appearance at the King's Ball in 1637, at seventeen. While learning the ways of the nobles, Edward taught his son how to use his accumulated knowledge to kill. In 1638, at dawn on the second of July, Leonardo made his first professional kill, silencing a whistle-blower who would have exposed the Lytions to the general public. From this point onwards, Leonardo quickly rose through the ranks to become a Lytion Captain. However, in 1640, Edward Silverman passed away after a particularly bad case of influenza. He named Leonardo as his sucessor, leaving him to lead the Lytion guild of assassins at age twenty. Realising that other members would resent his appointment as guild master with so little experience, he went to his father's closest friend and persuaded him to pretend to take the position of Guild Master, allowing Leonardo to be the Guild Master through him while he strove to gain enough experience to be accepted as himself. This arrangement was also convenient as it kept Leonardo from being the target of assassination contracts put out on the Guild Master of the Lytions.

Motivation: Leonardo Silverman is a fifth generation assassin. As such, the art of assassination is in his blood and in his family. Because of this there was an enormous amount of grooming done to turn him to the life of an assassin. It also helped that Leonardo had grown into exactly the right type of man to be an assassin, a man who was excited by thrill of victory and yet detached enough from killing to derive no pleasure from the act.

I love it, but have one question, is a punch dagger like a hidden blade from Assassin's Creed?

Pretty much, but it has the added option of staying out (to add more strength to the blade) if needed.

I am in too provided my girl is accepted

    Name: Rose Isabel Petley

Nickname/Alias: Ross (most people believe her to be a boy)

    Age: 17

Gender: Female (most people believe her to be male)

    Rank/Position: Apprentice (Lyitons)

Appearance: Due to the way Rose dresses and acts most people believe her to be a boy. She has long black hair which she wears up under a large fisherman’s hat that used to belong to her father. This makes her hair seem short. She has brown eyes. Rose is very thin (due to malnutrition), but physically stronger than one would expect. Rose wears old clothes (pants, shirt). She looks scruffy like a street kid of whom there are so many and therefore people hardly ever notice her. Rose has only recently become the apprentice to a Captain (Henry Milner) and rarely wears Lyitons colors. Rose acts like a smart-ass street kid: confrontational at times, distrusting, steels, lies and is ready to fight in an instant if she is triggered.

    Weapon(s): A sharp fisherman’s knife.

Skills: Skilled with a knife, street smart, fair street fighting skills, skilled thieve, skilled poisoner.

Background: Rose her parents met each other, married and lived in London like so many other people. There was nothing unusual and special about them. Her father worked as a fisherman on the Thames and her mother mended and washed clothes. Although they were poor, they were not among the poorest of the city and were able to live in a small one bedroom house. Rose was born in 1626 and the first few years of her life were uneventful.

Rose her mother had a strong knowledge of herbs both for healing and poisoning and from a young age she taught these skills to Rose. This was important to her as she felt that this knowledge was the only thing she had to give Rose.

When Rose was five years old her father was stabbed and killed in a bar fight. Financially their situation got considerably worse and although her mother fought hard to make ends meet she eventually resorted to prostitution. When Rose was eight years old they were evicted from their home and eventually when she was ten years old her mother died of malnutrition and pneumonia. During these homeless years her mother dressed and treated Rose as a boy calling her Ross in order to keep her safe. After her mother died Rose continued to live as a boy. She joined a gang of street kids where she refined her skills of stealing, lying and fighting.

Several months ago Rose stole a rare blade from a gentleman called Henry Milner, captain to the assassin guild of Lyitons. He was both shocked and impressed with the fact that she had managed to take the blade from him as he had up to that point believed it to be impossible. He followed her and watched her get into a fight with a rivaling street gang. Rose managed to kill two of them, before she got cornered and Henry saved her life killing three of them and running of the rest of them. He made her return the blade. Henry offered to take her on as his apprentice under the strict condition that she would be honest and loyal to him at all times. Grateful to him for having saved her life she accepted and as a sign of faith told him about her life up to that point including her skills as a poisoner and the fact that she is a girl. In the last few months he has been training her and she has grown to trust him.

Motivation: To Rose Henry is like family. She trusts him and has grown to rely on him. She might be rebellious at times towards him, but her loyalty is strong and when it comes down to it she will do as he tells her to do. He is an assassin so that is what she wants to be.

Cliche? It is a weapon that works well with the acrobatic nature of my character (it's an extended hand weapon that doesn't require drawing) and is a very practical weapon for an assassin. Although mine will be more realistic than the Assassin's Creed 'hidden blade'. It will be as wide as the hand itself and twice as long, only capable of being hidden in the biggest of 1600's jacket arms.

Well to be honest, I do kind of have a head start on this character, as I've been using him for RPs for the better part of five years and have added and subtracted to his backstory numerous times.

Also, its nice to see you Mistique!
