Not at all to be honest. After all, most people do sin quite a lot.

    Also, nice profile wolfy!

I think I'm going to start the RPG soon, after Nick has posted his profile we will then begin the RPG with it being open to new members upon the approval of their profiles.

    Name (before death): Dante Alighieri
    Angelic/Demonic Name (after death): Balan
    Allignment: Demonic
    Title: Demon Lord of Knowledge
Appearance: Balan is more of a civilised demon, and this is clear in his appearance. His face - though ugly and grotesque - shows little evidence of his demonic roots. He has a large, hooked nose, with skin so wrinkled and twisted you would think he suffers a physical disability that has affected his appearance. His eyes, however, are swimming oceans of a deep blue that can - which a single glare - give an indication of his age, wisdom, and knowledge (as well as what he has experienced) and a pain that seems to be a part of him. He dresses himself in ugly clothing that on his thin, pale frame would disgust whoever gazes upon him. He is an image of physical repulsion.
He is the twisted figure of his human form: Dante Alighieri
Personality: Balan is self-loathing. Unlike many demons who are boastful of their demeanour and position Balan hates not only what he has become, but every aspect of his being. This is partly why he deliberately makes himself look so grotesque and repulsive, as a punishment for what he has become. He still holds the capacity to love, and this comes in the form of an ancient love of his that he is sure lies in the heavens among the holy ranks. However, the love has become twisted until he loathes her for not being with him, and himself for not being with her, as well as everything else for getting in his way of finding her. Though Balan is fiercely loyal to the Lord of Hell, he feels sorrow for him. Balan believes Satan is as much a prisoner of Hell as the demons and souls of Hell are, and wants to be freed from it. Balan is extremely intelligent and poetic. He has studied the lore of humanity, and has perfected intellect.
Personal flaws: Hit hate for himself and his want for his lost love make Balan a flawed being. If opportunity arose, Balan would leave all he had done behind to be with his lost love, which makes him unpredictable to rule. He is willing to do anything Satan asks of him (which makes him a flaw to himself), but at the same time Satan is suspicious of the hate and pity Balan harbours for the King of Hell.
Fighting style: Balan does not possess a great physical prowess, but his studies have shown him how to masterfully harness the flames of Hell, along with the ice that litters it's lower levels. Balan understands the minds of humans and supernatural beings alike with a skilful mastery that can only come with centuries of experience and study. He can use his expert knowledge of psychology to verbally defeat many foes by twisting their motives and making them come to hate and want to destroy themselves. This can only work on those that are questionable of their motives and the task they have at hand. If his foe is confident of their demeanour and their motives, there is little Balan can do to them psychologically.
Special abilities: As mentioned, Balan has studied hard so that he has gained a mastery of fire and ice, including the fires of Hell and the ice that stays deep in the depths of Hell.
Enchanted weapon: Balan is nearly always carrying with him a large book. He can summon this from the depths of Hell, and it holds deep secrets of lore and the flaws of humanity. Balan also carries a large staff with him (which can also be summoned), but it holds no magical abilities other than the ability to channel fire and ice through it from Balan.
    Addictions: Balan has no addictions.
History: When Dante Alighieri died, he was punished for the raw lust he felt for a married woman, the thoughts he harboured that were dark (concerning the woman and her husband) and also for the life he lived (drinking at parties, for example, which was normal for a Florencian). However, Satan saw the weak Dante who endured his light punishments on the higher levels of Hell, and acknowledged his love for Beatrice (the lost love of his) as well as his hate for himself. What Satan really noticed was Dante's capacity for knowledge, and his high intellect. Satan proposed to Dante that if he joined the ranks of Hell as the Demon Lord of Knowledge, Satan would do all he could to reunite Dante with Beatrice (who was in the heavens). Weak from hate, anger, and his labours, Dante foolishly agreed in the tired hopes that he would find his love again. Satan declared Dante to be the new Demon Lord of Knowledge, under the new name Balan, and since then Balan has worked with the utmost loyalty for Hell. Over the years the hate and anger Balan harboured twisted his figure to the grotesque form is currently stands at, but his love for Beatrice has never wavered.

    Hope this is okay!

Sounds good! Just ask if you need some information for your character during the RP (pm preferably) as this world isn't exactly like the one from Inferno (though it is very similar).

Alright then! I shall begin the opening post immediately!

I'm so sorry but Gabriel has been set as a None Playable Character for this RPG, due to the fact that he is the only angel who may converse directly converse with God and therefore ask who has commited the killings, making the whole RPG a bit short.

However, you may choose from any of the other Angels who are not in bold or taken already. You may take an angel not named but then your character will not be an arcangel and thus will not have the same extent of power or influence.

I haven't put her on the list but I have to ask if you wish to have her as an angel or a demon, as she seems to be a greek goddess. She cannot be a goddess but she can be a demon of dark magics or an angel of light magics.

I'll play her as a demon. I think. It's been awhile since I've played someone evil, and I do like to play evil. ^-^

Who doesn't like to be evil?

Just draw up a profile from the template on the first page and once I've read and approved it then you may begin to RP with us in the RP thread.

Is it okay if I keep her greek? I've got a name picked out for her and I've got a good backstory forming that would put her in the position she's in. Give her motivation and so on.
