Having decided to finally come back to this forum after a somewhat lengthy break, I'd be more than happy to join this RPG. Kinda sad I wasn't around during the technology planning phase thoughAnd if anyone is still interested in actually having some data on physical attributes of the planet, I'll probably work them out sometime in the next couple of days. I really don't fancy the idea of typing the working out on WF, but I'll do a word doc with them, so people can PM me with an email address to send it to if they want it

Having done the calculations sooner than anticipated, here are the basic stats for the planet. g, r and T are based on discussions in previous posts; the other quantities are derived from those three:
g = 11.48 m.s^(-2) (1.17 earth) {Note that this would be for a perfectly spherical planet while standing on a geographical pole, for those out there who know what would change if it wasn't}
r = 7.517x10^6 m (1.18 earth)
T = 359 days [3.10x10^7 s] (0.98 earth)
m = 9.725x10^24 kg (1.63 earth)
dens. = 4.671x10^3 kg.m^(-3) (1.63 earth)
esc. v = 1.314x10^4 m.s^(-1) (1.17 earth)
orbital d = 1.478x10^11 m (0.99 earth) {This is based on the assumption that the star is the same mass as Sol, since there was no real discussion on star size in previous posts}
If there's any other stats that I haven't worked out that people are interested in, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
