Thread: Truth or dare?

I thought of something new to do which I hope you guys will like. It works relatively simple. You think of something for the next person to post. Both a question to which he or she has to answer truthfully and a writing challenge which you dare him or her to do. Anything you want really; poetry, a very small story, a word game like challenge, whatever.

The next one to post will then pick either the question (truth) or the challenge (dare) and answer it or complete it and then add another question and challenge for the next one to post.

I am not quite sure if it fun but I guess we will find out as wel go along. I will start:

Truth: What is the worst thing you have ever done to someone else?
Dare: I have certain words that I love because I like the way they sound regardless of the meaning. For instance I love the word sensual. The way it slides of your tongue like a snake with all those s's. I dare you to write a small poem that mainly consists of words you love for their sound. The poem doesn't have to make sence, you just have to love the sound of it.

I'll give it a whirl I guess

I pick truth, seeing as I suck at poetry.

The worst thing I've ever done to someone, physically, was to pull a man off of his moped and proceed to break as many of his ribs as I could with just my feet. I counted three but some of those may have just been bad bruises.

Truth: The worst thing you've ever done to yourself
Dare: I'll go with something very simple. I want a you to write a conversation between you and a split personality of yourself (more than one split is fine). Simples

Oh I haven't really done anything bad to myself except get completely and utterly blind drunk on a couple of occasions which made me very sick the next day :p so I am going with dare.

Here is a conversation between me and my alter-ego... ME - me, AME - alter-me
AME - Go on, you know you want to
ME - Nope, not going to be so stupid
AME - Aw please don't be such a sooky lala
ME - Im not, just being sensible
AME - But its $50!!
ME - So?
AME - You could get shitfaced for $50!!
ME - I don't want to
AME - Oh yes you do
ME - Oh alright I do want to but lets face it, I can't
AME - Why not?
ME - Because, I can't! I am not selling my underwear to a bucks party at the pub for $50!
AME - Oh yes you are, go on, its $50 for no effort and a $2.50 special from Kmart... and they'll be back on their bus and off to another pub in a minute so you won't even have to see them again!
ME - Nope
AME - Have another drink and then decide
ME - OK
AME - Right, now agree, go get your spare pair out of the car and you and Rachel have made enough $$ to have a really good night.
ME - Right. OK
AME - Another drink first, they're paying so why not
ME - Right on! $50! hahahahahaha

True story.

OK truth or dare:
TRUTH - what is a secret that you have never told anyone ever
DARE - Walk to your bookcase, close your eyes and randomly choose a book. Keeping your eyes closed, open it, randomly select a page and stick your finger into the book. The sentance your finger lands on I want you to write down and then write a whole new paragraph using JUST that sentance from the book.

Then tell us what book it was

This IS the internet, and we ARE writers. Do you think for one minute anyone is going to tell the truth when there are so many other interesting possibilities?
