A story in need of rescuing :)

I have created the start of a story in a social group some time ago that for some reason did not end up starting at all. Does anybody feel like joining me in this story

Then maybe together we could figure out what we want to do with it

Or if you want to change something about it that would be fine too

Its right after the war in a small town on the English coast, called Dovencourt. The following information is in the social group:

'Dovencourt: Dovercourt is a small seaside town in Essex, England. It is older than its smaller but better-known neighbour, the port of Harwich. Dovercourt is rich with civil war history and as a seaside resort offers shops and cafes for visitors and residents. The main shopping area is High Street and it has a railway station. In 1939 there was a camp for children (escaping the war) arriving to be placed in foster homes'

Oh there are also several pictures of Dovencourt from that period.

And this is my character in the story:

'Amanda Parker: 19 year old girl with red long hair and brown eyes. Lives with her dad Tom and her 6 year old sister Tessa. Her mother, Elisa, was an active and very conservative member of the church.The community was outraged when Elisa Parker was stabbed to death by an unknown person. It appeared to be an act or rage. Both children were present'

mmm well i'm not really into roleplaying in places like Dovencourt, they remind me too much of home and how much home sucked
