"You, sir." Raevyn turned a stern look on Ade as he laughed to himself, "Still owe me some instruction on how to use my Dirk. I will learn how to defend myself."

She turned back to Eunice, "They say the foothills are pretty close, can you see them up ahead?" She indicated the hills ahead of them, green-blue with haze. All the could see was treetops from where they were. "But the real hills we won't get to for two more days, and then it will take us four days to get right through them to Touri. Remember, Ben was telling us yesterday."

Inwardly Raevyn shuddered, she was very afraid of what was to come but tried very hard not to show it.

Eunice looked in the direction of the hills that Reavyn pointed to. 'Yeah I see them'. Six days in those hills. Eunice loved the idea of wandering through those hills, which would undoubtfully be beautiful as nature always was. 'I can't wait' she said and already regretted having made the promise to Raevyn. There would be so many different kinds of animals in those hills probably some of which she had never seen before and unless Raevyn would go near them Eunice had no means of meeting them. However as sacret as promises were to Eunice she was not about to break it.
